Hell is not a part of God. It was created for the devil and his angels there will come a 'point' where it ceases to exist. Forever is a frame of reference to a span of 'time'. I can't recall anything in the Bible about hell ceasing to exist at some point.....punishment there is described as 'forever' but, I agree, forever might not mean the same thing to God as it does to us. It just depends where we will spend that eternity. You were bound for heaven and eternity from the moment you were saved. Not your earthly body, but you, your soul. That is what the Lord Jesus Christ did for us. Satan on the other hand, promises heaven on earth while we live, which is a pale shadow of the real thing. Mk. 3:29 "...but is in danger of eternal damnation" Damnation by separation - but not life. If it had a beginning it will have an end. Only that which is found in God is eternal. Ephesians 1:4 "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world,..." God is omniscient, He never changes - never has a new thought.
