Jihad Islami, Hamas, Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and the other Palestinian organizations with a vested interest in continuing their campaign of terror against Israel were quick to plant a concocted rumor in the Palestinian street and mosques that Israel had slowly poisoned Arafat.

Have you noticed that no matter what the event in the Middle East, there are spinsters there to twist the story against Israel or America? They are so committed that when I see children hit by American bombs or Jewish bullets, I immediately wonder if they were injured by their countrymen and planted for the cameras and that is not lack of compassion. What happens to those children is terrible and it is 100% caused by the twisted terrorists that are allowed to run free.

Don't look at me I didn't feed him. (bad papas).

No matter what goes on the US will be made ths scapegoat for the Middle East problems. Ok maybe we deserve some of it for humanitarian efforts we have sent and they want to die from lack of food and medicines. I don't know.

Arafat himself is adored by many of his peoples as their savior. Others see him as a terrorist, myself included. I have strong ideas that he has been responsible for many attacks in the Middle East himself either by acatually giving terrorist the funds and equipment to giving them intelligence and making sure that non of his people are hurt. When he finally takes that big dirt nap in the ground we are going to see a lot more violence in the Middle East

No Papas, ISRAEL is, and always will be THE scapegoat for the problems with the Middleeast.

But let's be honest... If Israel is blamed for Arafat's death, so what? Can Israel be hated any worse than they already are? Jews are blamed for every world problem anyway. I am surprised no one has tried to pin hurricane Ivan on us, yet. After all we control Wall Street, Television, Hollywood, the Federal Reserve, and we have the White House in our back pocket as well. It is only fitting that we should control the weather as well.

But back to the topic. Yep you are going to see a lot more violence as the Palestinians fight for the purse strings. Frankly, Israel might be able to just sit back and let the Palestinian community implode. Without Arafat they will self destruct. Of course the EU may step in to make sure that does not happen. That will create a whole other dynamic for Israel.

As far as the poisoning is concerned. I would sooner believe the poisoning scenario if Arafat were thirty years old. The man is 75 years old. He had physical problems three years ago, but refused to seek treatment. Now he is paying for that neglect. Now the problems have passed the line of no return. Even if he recovers, he is too old to get back to 100%. His body's ability to repair itself is impaired by his age, and the years of neglect he imposed upon it.

The Palestinians, with some support from their European friends, are insisting on his burial in Abu Dis, the Palestinian suburb of Jerusalem that has a view of Temple Mount.

Like I said before any toxic landfill would be suitable as a burial place for Arafat. Or they could do like the ancient Egyptians used to do: Impale Him through his butt on a tall stick and let the buzzards pick his bones clean. Either one will do. I have no problem admitting that I have no compassion or sympathy for him whatsoever.

Latest report - Arafat has liver failure.

I don't believe anyone can fudge recovery reports anymore.

What is bothering me is the news site (duh - CNN) I saw this on had a big tribute page for the man (an "man" was not the word I wanted to use . . . but we must be careful what words we use, shouldn't we?).

There are no words that can truly describe Arafat in socially acceptable terms. Arafat cannot be called what he truly is, without violating the TOS on these boards.

Everything will get so twisted and when he dies people WILL lift him high and remember all the good things he did. That will make your stomach turn :21:

Its making me sick, yet Israel will be blamed again for his death and not allowing him to be buried in Israel and he shouldn't.

This man got more people killed as any other man before him. He's a criminal!!

It will be scary when Europe is going to step in probably to keep order when he's dead, my predictions will be that they're going to be very mad at Israel after he dies and maybe there will be a peace treaty signed soon after to control the situation?

I can't believe that he's not dead yet-------

With many in his groups, wanting to take over the number one spot, he will be lucky if they wait for him to die to bury him.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
