One question that rattles around in my head is; what was God doing before He created everything - even the angels?

I've always wondered what it must have been like to "be" with nothing else at all.

God was with wisdom and youll find the proof at proverbs 8:22 but Ill begin the quote starting at 8:12 because thats where wisdom begins speaking.

Proverbs 8:12 "I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

13The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

14Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.

15By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.

16By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.

17I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

18Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.

19My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

20I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:

It is to my understanding that this is portraying Christ.

So the sense of God being with "wisdom" seems to (assuming your assertion be true) not sufficient for Tinky's question. Though I am curious- the bible says, "In the beginning God created"- not in the beginning of time. . . .this is probably confusing- but God being infinite has no beginning nor end- so maybe in the beginning of His WAY- He started creation? Not sure- great question tinky!

Wisdom is a woman:

Proverbs 8:1 "Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

2She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

3She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.

4Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.

5O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart."

She standeth, she crieth with her voice, and if she is Jesus why does He say this of her:

Matthew 11:19 "The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children."

So wisdom is not only a woman but she has children and she was who was with God in the beginning.

Its overlooking alot to say wisdom is Christ when wisdom is described by the Bible as a woman with God from everlasting and she is a mother.
