Only Roman citizens were permitted arms. And when Peter uses his sword in the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus heals the man and tells Peter to 'Put your sword back in it's scabbord' NOT to get rid of his sword, but TO KEEP THE ILLEGAL WEAPON ON HIS OWN PERSON!!!So, as Christians; desiring to obey our Lord; ought we to make sure we purchase modern military weapons whenever we can?
