Good Topic! I would like to think I am ready, For Me Being Ready is for me to take a self inventory each day of myself and Hope that I have walked in the center of our Fathers will for me that day .. we must be about The Fathers Business and walking and talking in The Light of Jesus Christ, Asking myself if I'm doing all that I can for The work of His Kingdom. Jesus died on a cross for my sins and took those sins upon Himself so that I may have Eternal Life with Him Forever! And When I get to meet Him Face to face I hope I am Worthy for Him to say...Well done good and faithful servant!

We won't be "ready" until we become unified as the Body of Christ. Christ is looking for a Bride who is spotless and blameless.

Without unity, (focus on Christ and Him crucified), we are a scattered flock without a Shepherd.

Unity among the brethren is a priority, according to scripture.

John 17:23 22 "The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; 23 I in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, so that the world may know that You sent Me, and loved them, even as You have loved Me."

This same unity is correlated to Christ and His bride, the Church:

Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

Our unity as a church body is critical in being found clean and without blemish. We are continually admonished by the apostle Paul to love one another deeply and to grow in unity and the fullness of Christ.

Do you know that you will have to watch the world become total anarchy. Your neighbors will cut your other neighbors into pieces. nation against nation man against man. Wemen and children murdered everyone by his neighbor?

No. I can never be ready for what is comming. Even though it must come. My heart yearns for when all of that is over and the kingdom is setup.

Dear Cats,

I'm afraid that what we have perceived as the bride of Christ, has become something else, for the most part. The church has become something that has fallen into idolotry and false worship now, not ALL, but for the most part. The unity you are referring to, is the unity that Christ speaks of as well, in John 17. But it will not be the organized church as a whole. This unity will be in pockets made up of those who are TRUE believers, who have endured and held on to the fullness of God's Word. Just as the disciples were true believers, yet something different from "their" current day church. The distinction will be those pockets of believers/churches, who have not forsaken the TRUTH. Those who are still standing firm on the whole gospel of Jesus Christ, and not just into tickling the ears of the hearers, in order to keep the money coming in.

Here is the TRUE UNITY:

John 17

11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.
