He does have the right to choose whom he will allow in his restaurant. If he doesn't want kids, then fine, don't take them there, go elsewhere. I feel people should be mindful of the settings they find themselves in. I also feel it was very inconsiderate for this family to bring their baby to this restaurant. It costs over 200 dollars just to secure a reservation there. However; there are no refunds on these reservations and in the case of the couple, the babysitter cancelled at the last minute, so it was a bad scenario all around. Perhaps the restaurant could have been more generous and allowed them to reschedule without penalty. I am sure the couple didn't intend to be disruptive to the other diners.
