JERUSALEM, ISRAEL (Worthy News)– Israel carried out targeted and pinpointed strikes against 34 terror targets throughout the Gaza Strip last night, as Hamas warned against waging war saying it would "open the gates of hell."

The Israel Air Force (IAF) in overnight strikes hit a Hamas complex in Rafah that acted as a command center, Hamas residential structures and a weapons storage facility.

The objective of the operations was to "to prevent the continuation of rocket fire at Israel. If we see Hamas heading towards a confrontation, we'll go there," an IDF source told Ynet.

Over the past few weeks, rockets fired out of Gaza has intensified with at least 60 rockets fired into Israel.

"If Hamas's aim is to escalate, we will act accordingly," a senior security source told the Jerusalem Post.

ISRAEL MOURNS THE LOSS, BLAMES HAMAS

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called an emergency cabinet meeting last night after the bodies of the abducted three teenagers were discovered.

"With heavy grief, this evening we found three bodies. All signs indicate that they are the bodies of our three abducted youths — Eyal Yifrach, Gilad Shaar and Naftali Frankel," Netanyahu said at the beginning of an emergency cabinet meeting.

"They were abducted and murdered in cold blood by human animals. On behalf of the entire Jewish people, I would like to tell the dear families –- the mothers, fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers, and brothers and sisters –- we are deeply saddened, the entire nation weeps with you. We will give the boys a proper burial," Netanyahu said.

"Hamas is responsible, and Hamas will pay," Netanyahu said in a statement.

HAMAS THREATENS TO OPEN THE GATES OF HELL

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri said Israel bears responsibility for the latest escalation in the Gaza Strip.

"[Prime Minister Binyamin] Netanyahu should know that his threats don't scare Hamas," Abu Zuhri said. "If he wages war on the Gaza Strip, the gates of hell will be opened."

GAZA STRIP OPERATION PLANNED

On Sunday, Israel's Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman said Israel should consider a larger military operation into Gaza re-taking control of the Strip.

"We have to decide if we are heading to a scenario of re-taking full control of the strip," Liberman said in an interview with Army Radio. "We've seen that a limited operation just strengthens Hamas, so the alternative is clear. There is no scenario in between."

Meanwhile, the IDF is preparing plans for a large-scale operation in the Gaza Strip.

"We're preparing a plan to advance an operation in the Strip. The objective is to avoid escalation and act responsibly," an IDF source told Ynet News.

SEARCH CONTINUES

Two well-known Hamas operatives, Amar Abu-Eisha, 33, and Marwan Kawasmeh, 29, are prime suspects in the death of the three Israeli teenagers. Military officials vowed the search for them would continue.

Three Palestinians were arrested in overnight operations that continued in the West Bank.

The IDF also confirmed that a Palestinian, Yousouf Ibrahim abu Zagha, 19, had been killed after throwing a grenade at the IDF during a raid in the Jenin refugee camp.

Since the beginning of Operation Brother's Keepers, over 400 Palestinians have been arrested, most of them Hamas operatives.

That is what we do most of the time.

Also, they throw a lot of rockets and mortar shells at us but mostly they land in open areas.

If you ask me, it smells very suspicious .... conspiracy?

no, I don't think it is a conspiracy.  The rockets and the grenades they launch don't have any kind of guidance system.  All Hamas can do with qassam rockets is point in the general direction of Israel, shoot and hope they get lucky and hit something.  So it makes sense that they end up landing in open areas with killing anyone.

What's more, they don't care. Miss and do nothing, kill some Israelis, miss big time and kill some of your own people.... they're not bothered. They'll target their own if it progresses their cause.

This is why Muslims are such tough cookies to fight. They'll kill themselves and their families if need be. They don't have the sense of self-preservation that other enemies have. That's why you can't fight Muslims with jabs, blocks and well-timed hooks - you always have to go for the knockout punch.

They don't fight fair and never have. In Britain we have a saying: "It's just not cricket!"

Well said.  That pretty much sums it up.

With all due respect, it's true they don't have a guiding system but considering the distance they shoot and the size of the targets..... how come it's mostly in open areas?

I find it pretty suspicious, but time will tell

We are in the midst of World War III which is vastly different than WWWII. We are using WWWII  thinking and that does not work.

You cannot frighten an enemy with tanks and planes when they use suicide bombers as a weapon.

It is a religious war fought by an enemy who don't care about their own life.

We need to change the disk or lose the war !!

You have to have aim at a target.  The size of the targets is irrelevant.  I would also add that Israel has, as an added benefit the protection of the Lord.  For all of the rockets being fired on Israel it is wonder that they don't have more casualties on the Israeli side.  But that is due to the fact that Israel has a divine protector who honors His eternal covenant with Israel.

The Palestinians don't have God's protection, which is why more of the them die.  The Lord fights for Israel, not for the Palestinians.  The Palestinians, in coming against Israel they place themselves as enemies of God.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
