Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? If so, how about reading the following story:

Well, of course, government & civil order are of God according to Romans Chapter Thirteen. "Render unto Caesar" would provide for government taxation, and taxation is necessary for law enforcement, national security, fire, roads & infrastructure, etc. Ever tried crossing a big river minus a bridge to assist?

Helping hurt people, of course, is indeed Christ-like to the core. Which is why, one supposes, that america is sending countless millions to flood-ravaged Indonesia (the most populous Muslim nation in the world), while Muslim nations themselves are sending but a mere pittance! Strange, eh, what? I wonder if Muhammad is turning over in his sepulchre?

Just for clarification, I think Daniel meant "hurt" as an adjective describing "people", not as a verb.

The question im asking is how involved should the government be in our lives? How much should the Govenment do; i would limit Government ability-to-control to the areas of policing, national defense, and health.

Their worries about 'what is being taught in school', is a waste of time.

The debates on homosexuality, abortion, never get anywhere

All the things the government wastes time on, the point is; its our money they're wasting, with policies that dont work, and i dont want to waste my taxes on something that gets no where.

Is there anything wrong with that?
