I'd like to hear what some of your soulwinning experiences have been. How some one came to Christ how someone may have rejected the gospel. Just share some of your experiences or someone you know of.

Hi, soulwinner.

I think this could be one of the most important threads here. Maybe it could be in it's own area, Mods?

I was out tonight, and we used the night to visit some couples that came into our church over the past few weeks as visitors. We went to two houses, but luck was not on our side- no one home. At the third, (actually, the first of the night that we went back to on a whim before going home) the couple was now home from work. It was a simple meet and greet, and we invited them to come back this Sunday. We left them a tract to read. I don't think they are saved, but they said that they have been thinking of God lately. It was late, so we left them with a tract to read and think about, as they were not interested in talking much due to time.

I pray that we (my partner for the night, and I) made a small difference, or planted the seed that will result in two more accepting Christ.

I go out most Thursdays and will have many new stories and stuff from the past also.

I Pray that everyone on Worthy participates in this all-important thread.

Thanks, soulwinner for starting it.

God Bless,

t.

I will share a couple of mine on Christmas eve i was able to lead my grandfather to Christ. Ive been saved for seven years and he is the first family member I have seen saved it was the greatest Christmas gift I could have gotten. One time soul winning I knocked on a lady's door and told her i was from Victory Baptist Church and after talking with her for a minute i asked her if she was a christian and she said no and started sobbing she said that she heard a message on hell about 2 weeks prior to me coming to her house and that she needed to be saved we went to God in prayer boy was I shocked that's never happened since then God just had her prepared. I was able to lead someone at my Job last night to the Lord his mother died while giving birth to him and his dad always told him it was his fault and that he killed his mother. His father tried to throw him into a fire and threw scalding water at him, he ended up using Cocaine at the age of 9 his dad was a satanist on top of all that well last night i had the chance to witness to him and he accepted Christ. After he got saved he said there was a peace there in now that was not there before and then he asked me to write down the verses i shared with him so he could share them with his family. I work at a Rescue Mission so i have ample opporutnity to share Christ with people but this morning before devotions he told everyone that he had an announcement to make and he shared with everyone how he got saved last night!

I'll add another, one day a lady from Dr. Tom Molone's church was out witnessing for several hours but the she believed the Lord was telling her to keep going but she stopped because she was tired well she went out the next day to go soulwinning again and started back where she left off the previous day. When she went to the house a little girl answered the door she told the girl she was from a church in the area and the girl said you need to pray for my mommy she tried to kill her self last night and is in the hospital the lady had tied a rope around her neck and was in the hospital on the verge of death the soulwinning lady rushed all the way to the hospital praying that God would let the lady live but she ended up dying if only she had listened to the Holy Spirit and kept on witnessing that night she might have been able to reach that lady.

Soulwinner,

For a time, I myself was both of these people. One who acknowledged Christ, then turned Him away for some time. It was not until this past year after firmly deciding that my faith was that of a non-believer (those of the agnostic way of life in particular) it was not until God sent me, my own personal angel that the truth was revealed unto me as well as my calling brought to me. Thank God for His use of people, for none of us will ever know if it will be family, friend, aquaintance, stranger, or foe. God can use all, can he not? Amen?

Ever since June/July of this year faith has been rejected by those of which were once friends, lost a friend of whom was once the closest for 13 years...and unmentionable others. For it is not the number of efforts made that matter. It is the strength to go on and try again...no?

With Love In Christ,

Danielle

why should we win souls and testify about the grace of God?

Pro 11:30 The fruit of the righteous [is] a tree of life; and he that winneth souls [is] wise.

Act 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

Luk 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Act 10:42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God [to be] the Judge of quick and dead.

Act 20:24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Mat 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

If were following Christ we will win people to Christ

"Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins."—James 5:19-20.

Dan 12:3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

Jhn 4:35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and [then] cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.

Luk 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the labourers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

7 So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

9 Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Lu 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

Mr 5:19 Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

Joh 15:16 … I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain:

Lu 15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Ps 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

come on guys and gals lets hear some of your stories! Where are the labourers

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
