Why? Is it ever OK for a girl to propose to a guy? Do some guys wish that the girl would propose to them ? Guys what if the girl propose to you ? If She Likes It Should She Put A Ring On It or just ask to marry without the ring ?

Proverbs 18:22 says He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favor from the Lord. You know what God designed it so that the man would purse a woman. the feminist movement is all about having equal this and that with women. But I do not believe its Biblical for women to chase after the man.

She then told me that God had told her I was the one she had been waiting for. She had waited 43 years for God to speak, and had never been in a single relationship at all. Zilch, nada, nothing. She waited in faith for 43 years for God to speak. What choice did I have? I could not wait to ask her to marry me. Amazing rock like faith my wife has! And I love her to absolute distraction... One of our ministries is to show others by word and deed how much two people can love each other.
Guest Teditis
A beautiful story Fez... thanks for sharing that/ I think "courting" is a cultural thing and that here in America we are so diverse culturally that there is no one-way of doing things. So follow your heart and speak your mind, is what I always tell people... if the "other" is slower than what you're expecting, quit expecting and do something. It's probably less uncommon than people think. That said I always envisioned asking my now wife to marry me. Thankfully she did as well. I believe the natural types the spiritual and God has an order. He is the groom and we are the bride - He chose us. Living according to the Spirit's leading is a higher calling and not goverened by cultural or current trends. God does not change with the times. I have seen it and experienced it that the Spirit always acts the same. When a person has a conversion experience irregardless of race and color the result is always the same. We are only fooling ourselves if we claim to be Christians and then go our own way - 'the broad way'.
