Most of you know that he is very ill and has been in a struggle with his health in the past few months. I posted this in the General forum to ask every member to please lift Nigel up in prayer. Please keep praying, he is in dire, dire need of our prayers. "Lord Jesus I lift up to you our brother Nigel, this incredible, grace filled man who has a testimony that reads like a novel, and whose faith shines through every word he writes. His strength and hope are beacons of light for every one of us who know him, because his strength and hope lie only in You. We pray for Your almighty healing hand upon Nigel right now Lord. We pray for the bright white light of your healing, love, mercy and grace upon Nigel even now in his darkest hours. We pray for no pain, no anxiety and no fear. We pray for peace, comfort and healing. We pray upon Your promise that our prayers will be answered. We pray for Your will to be done. We pray this in Your Holy Name. Amen". I have just returned home and read this thread. Tears came to my eyes as I read Fez's prayer. You cannot imagine the encouragement this thread gives me , I have no words to thank you and all who are praying for me. The past months have been harder than I would have imagined but I am blessed with such wonderful brothers and sisters in Christ on Worthy . They have constantly encouraged me , prayed for me and lifted my spirits. I am blessed beyond measure by the day to day people that wander in and out of my life. The two nights spent in hospital is really just a drop in the ocean to some of my medical problems that slowly lead me to the time when HE will call me home. I can report that I spent the past 48 hours diligently causing problems for the nurses and medical staff in Charing cross hospital. Please keep all the staff in your prayers and my palliative team that look after me in my home, especially Carol the nurse that is in charge, and the staff on the foundation for ex Veterans where I live. You know' sometime ago I wondered why HE had given me extra time , it sort of left me at a lost as to why. The answer really is very easy, HE still has things for me to do. Lord I thank you for everyday, every living moment that I can share with others . Every day we as individuals have a choice , we can sit around and mope all day or we can share our love with someone else. We can share how much we Love Jesus and why. What amazing conversations can be had as we witness through all we do and say. Deuteronomy 31:8 8 The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.
