John6:65 Does this mean that not just anyone can be saved?

In John 6:65 it reads (And He said. Therefore I said unto you, that no man can come unto me , except it were given unto him by my father . NKJ  .  Other translations reads granted .  What are your thoughts .

If You Have Jesus, You Have The Father

    Welcome to Worthy......I think what we have to consider is that God foreknew each of us,,,,,,He knows everything,past,present ,future,therefore He already knows who will be accepting & believing on Jesus and the decisions(free will)that we will make before we make them.......it is the ones that will choose His Son that He gives to the Son..........know what I mean?

Eg" Judas Escariot was going to betray Jesus,this was known by God before Judas was ever born,,,,,,,,I do not believe Judas was ever really one of Gods children in the first place or he could not have been plucked from Jesus Hand,,,,,,,,,his heart was never fully committed to Jesus,he must have always kept that part of his heart for himself as he never forsook pride & vanity,,,,,,he was his own god

God offers us all faith to believe. But some deny the light given them and resist the knowledge of God because their deeds are evil. All can see God in His creation but some choose not to believe and don't come to God. They harden their hearts. That I why I keep praying for loved ones that God will keep calling them, soften their hearts and take the blindness from their eyes that they might know His wondrous love for us all.
