Those stories are out there. They are just not the headline stories for CNN, MSNBC, FOX, or even local news channels.  The media goes literally and figuratively to the biggest fire. Human interest stories are secondary to stuff on fire.

Actually everything is really calm right now.  There are no protesters.   There may be people doing some good things and that's great.   But that doesn't minimize what has happened.  Your notion that it is just a few people who caused the trouble simply does not agree with the facts that have been reported.

 

Scores of people have been arrested, a number of business set on fire, cars have been torched, other places have been looted and vandalized the damage has been extensive in Ferguson and that is not the work of just a few people.

 

Sure, post the human interest stories, but that isn't going to change the narrative.   Those people would not be out there doing all of those things if there weren't a bunch of thugs  causing so much damage and heartache in Ferguson.

I have seen where they are blocking ambulances on the way to hospitals.  They are shutting down intersections and emergency personnel can't get through.

It takes more than just a few people to shut down intersections and block vehicles from getting through.  Sorry BE, but your information is just wrong.

Again, generally the acts of a few. There can be thousands of people protesting. But it only takes a few people to throw rocks and start fires.

 

 

That is false.  It is not a few.  The damage that was done was not the work of a few.  Please...  They are not protesters; they are thugs and felons. These rioters and thugs need to be shut down and sent home.  And the ones causing the problem are numerous.  We can see what is going on, BE.  You can't change what has been clearly seen.

 

 CNN and the other channels focus on the torched cars and the broken windows. You don't see the people handing out food, volunteer medics cleaning mace out of peoples eyes, the people who donate to bail people out of jail when they are arrested on bogus charges, the people who stand in front of shops that have broken windows who live there to prevent the few troublemakers from looting, the volunteer legal teams, the drives to donate clothing to the homeless, because that's not exciting and dangerous and as able to get ratings.

 

The reason we don't see it is because it isn't happen. 

 

The Liberal media is partly responsible for this chaos.  They ran with a false narrative that this was a race-based hate crime before any evidence came in.  They presumed the guilt of the police officer.   They stoked the fires and helped to incite the rage we are seeing now.  They are partily responsible for the destruction we are seeing in Ferguson.  They, along with Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson need to be held accountable for inciting all of this.

 

 

i'm sure some of that is going on, Shiloh. in fact, i know it is because i made a donation to one of the restaurants that had been vandalized. one of their locations had been 'protected' to some extent by people who stood in front of it. i had to search high and low online to find any info on businesses other than natalie's bakery, and i found that one. the owners are cathy and jerome jenkins. there is a video interview online of them, and it shows a clip of people standing in front of their restaurant during the riots.

 

but BE, the fact still remains, these riots were not the actions of just a few. the majority of protesters weren't being peaceful. they were rioting. they were looting and committing arson and many other atrocities. heck, they were even stealing cell phones from each other during the riot. yep, right out of the hands of one "protester" as he filmed the burning of cars, another thug snagged his phone and ran like crazy for blocks, still filming.

 

there are two groups of people in ferguson this week. there are the thugs, and there are their victims. the "peaceful protesters" were in other cities, like dallas.
