As soon as an indifference of expectation is directed at a person, place, thing or situation, a negative judgement is made.

Domenic,   You judge others while lecturing us not to judge.   You justify in yourself the very thing you condemn in others.    The word for that is hypocrisy.

Jesus died physically on the cross, but Jesus did not die spiritually.   Jesus went to Paradise.

For Jesus to die spiritually, I would mean that Jesus became a sinner on the cross.  Jesus was the sinless and perfect Lam of God who was sacrificed for our sins.  For Jesus to die spiritually would mean that Jesus went to hell and that is false teaching.

The Bible says Jesus bore our sins in the flesh (1 Pet. 2:24)   Jesus bore our sins in His flesh, not in His spirit.

Jesus reconciled man to God on the cross.   (II Cor. 5:19).   Jesus could not have reconciled man to God if Jesus was spiritually dead.

Jesus' blood, justifies us (Rom. 5:9), sanctifies us (Heb. 13:12)  Reconciles all things to himself (Col. 1:20).

I could go on, but the point is that every reference to Jesus' death is physical, either his body or his blood.   Paul never states that Jesus died spiritually.  Jesus death was bodily and his resurrection was bodily.

There is not ONE Scripture that states Jesus died spiritually.  For Jesus to die spiritually, he would have become a sinner and that would have disqualified him from being our sacrifice for sin.

I don't attend a Church.I used to and it was a nice Church and I learned a lot from the Pastor's sermons. It became a huge Church and I felt lost with many cliques within the congregation. It is not a salvation issue to attend a Church.I think it is very important to have a daily relationship with God(which is much more than many people I know who attend a Church),study the Bible daily and truly give your life and everything in it to God.Pray for everything. If God gives you unrest and tells you to attend a Church by all means do so but I am at peace not doing so right now.

I am an un-churched Christian. One of a million (or more)

I have some favorite churches in my area and I go to one in particular, but every time I want to jump in, get plugged in,  the Lord is stops me.

Before I go on let me say that I have been a born again Christian for 33 years, I am a bible college graduate, I attended church faithfully, was part of the ministry team, and did all things are were fitting and proper. And then one day God called me out into the wilderness. He has given me a mission of reaching his people who are floundering, without a church, without direction. To point them back into fellowship and congregation, and also to help them out of the pit they have found themselves in.  I am not a pastor, don't pretend to be a pastor and I am not gathering a flock....I always commend them on to a church.

PpbNru7.jpg

"A rock in the river" as God described it to me, to be an obstacle for some on their headlong run to the waterfalls edge, and a hand hold for others....to help them out of the river, and back on the dry shore. Which is why I call myself Riverwalker and my ministry The River's Edge.

There is a boatload of floundering Christians.  Hurt or afraid of church, loving God but feeling dry empty and uncertain. In need of hope.

I know the value of church...I love going to church, I love the corporate praise most of all, and I miss it. And yet it is not what God has called me to. He has called me to the wilderness.

This of course seems contrary to our instructions not to forsake the gathering of ourselves together, and yet after many years of soul searching and despite my desire to be in church, this rock, is where I am called. Like John the Baptist whose pulpit was a rock in the river or Moses atop Mount Nebo watching the children of God entering the promised land.

I guess I am just looking for your guys opinion on this, to gain a little more insight into what I know to be true.

I am open to any and all thoughts.

Replying directly, I think I get what you mean... Where I live there is really only 1 decent church. I know the perfect church doesn't exist in this world but there are some truths i refuse to compromise on.

That said, I say church and going "to church" because thats the excepted term, but its not scriptural. The church isn't a building, its the body and church is everyday so there is no going to church.

Where 2 or 3 are gathered in his name he is there in the midst. Early Christians,  (before Constantine was a ""Christian""for example) they were persecuted (even true Christians during and after Constantines reign)

so the true Christians were persecuted and they had to meet in the wilderness, and in caves, or a house etc. They didn't build buildings and call them "churches", couldn't if they wanted to.

Some hidden history reveals that Constantine was a fake. He was not a Christian, he only said he was to bring the church out of hiding. Persecution only makes the church grow.

So Satan used Constantine to bring em out. So this whole "church building" thing is rooted in Catholicism, and i won't event begin on the Dark Ages....

But then theres the rormation era, but even Martin Luther had some problems with his reformed theology, Lutherenism is still kind of Catholic... I'm getting into some touchy subjects, and i should play nice

So what im saying is.. Many things cause God and his word to be blasphemed. When atheists particulary start to say Christianity is Pagan... Us Christians need to stand for truth and draw some lines

to clear up what is Christian and what is Counterfeit... Lemme get back to "church buildings"... many quote Hebrews 10:25 "Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together......."

but i would love to start a "house church" its not violating that verse and i believe is biblical, meeting with in homes or a park setting etc... persecution comes quick, times can get tough before the rapture.

Theres an Islamic center in my town, which has a high crime rate as it is so who knows... If martyrdom is what the Lord has for me, amen but i'm not to seek that out.

So there are many reasons for a house church... Another reason im against modern church buildings is because of 501©3 tax exempt status churches.

Sounds like the government is the head of the church, not Jesus Christ.

When this whole gay agenda takes its toll how many pastors will take a stand in there 501c3 church? They cant talk against the government and who to vote for etc. And when a gay couple wants to harass a church and be married in their building and the pastor refuses, a law suit is in the horizon then the goverment steps in, who owns the pastors building and says he has to marry them, and cant preach against sodomites.

The whole thing is a mess, the gay agenda is fighting against the church bc of thier conscience killing them, I believe, Thats beside the point.

Hebrews 10:25. huh? What about Easter and Christmas... uh-oh - "silly pagans, church is for kids" they say! FACT : The only time the lost world "comes to church" is during those holidays

Pagan holidays at that... how ironic?? So its the Christians in the church building that are now violating Hebrews10:25 !

Pastors are suppose to feed the flock with the word of God, then the church goes out to the lost and converts them.. thats biblical

And the church building christians would also violate 2 cor 6:14-17. be not yoked with unbelievers.... be ye separate...

A church building is not the center of evangelism, the world is!

For the most part.. the church has not converted the world... The world has converted the church. I believe the great falling away is/has been taking place for a while now.

New age movement, contemplative spirituality, ecumenical movement, countless false teachers...etc..

I'm also very much against Bible Colleges... nothing but faith killers... many have left to become Muslims, and not to mention atheist or another religion...

many Bible colleges teach contemplative spirituality now... those that don't are still faith killers bc of their "naturualistic textual criticism"

which is basically an atheistic philosophy, they don't believe the Bible, cast doubt on the miracles and tear apart scripture, they don't believe in a perfect infallible Bible, an absolute authority.

God promised to preserve his word.. in English it is the KJV. See Psalm 12:v6-7 ; Psalm 138:2 ; and Proverbs 30:5

All these new Bibles (over 200 now right?) are causing the word of God to be blasphemed! Atheists mock the Bible becuase it contradicts and filled with errors- They are right!! NIV NASB NKJV ETC

Muslims mock the Bible becuase we have so many translations.. they say God is not the author of confusion... They are right!

On and on I could go... There is a conspiracy out there... Satan is trying to destroy the word of God....

Satans Bible is not "the Satanic Bible" by Anton Levay.. No.. its the NIV.. looks like the word of God right? its counterfeit! Then theres the NKJV most subtle of all.. the trinity symbol often found on the cover violates scripture..we are not to make images of the Godhead Acts 17:29.. plus that symbol is used in witchcraft all the time... same with the "Jewish star" or star of David, (which wasn't)

Its satanic and used in witchcraft.. a 6 pointed star? Come on!!

Alright... i know many disagree with me.... i know... i really do... I just love the Holy Bible and I love God and I love truth and stand for it at all costs... even if i stand alone

May God use you and bless you. Have a wonderful day!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
