Apparently the link was seen as an ad for a book, but without access to it....

 

 

Members who wish to read up on the book can do this by goggling the name of the said book.

There is nothing wrong with discussing this book or suggesting other members read it 

Imagine however, what it would be like if everyone who chose to do so, began advertising their personal choices in books and other articles.

We, a ministry for Christ, would become no more than an online advertising billboard, losing the mission we are called to do.

 

The problem with this from the ministerial standpoint is that, we would be applying our policy hypocritically if we did allow this link.

It would probably shock you greatly to see how often and how many people try to post promotional links here.

Most of these get removed within a few minutes of being put up, largely before anybody really sees them. 

If we were to leave these links up, then other people who link to books, articles, clothing and every other known thing under the sun  would cry foul,

 

If we started allowing them then this very high traffic Christian website would quickly become nothing more than an internet billboard cluster.

Well I don't know about the book but nature and the laws within nature are created by God. The first few sentences in Genesis contain space, matter,water and then energy, let there be light, boom. 

 

It's a simple look at things but separating God from nature or nature from God or trying to argue using the bible as a scientific book, when it's a book of theology, is where we go wrong and confuse the discussion to favor the scientist. 

 

It's what's funny to me when people try to describe away the exodus miracles by connecting nature to them as though it was just mother nature.

 

When it comes to an explosion, I really don't have a problem with that. Using a bang to explain away God, well that is a problem but also foolish.
