Understanding what the Bible says about the foundations of the earth opens up a whole book of interesting things that help us to realize how easy it is for God to use nature to accomplish changes such as the flood.

The question is "What is the earth founded on?" (What holds it together?).

Remember James 1:5. I'm not saying that the answers will be found over night, but enjoy the journey if you want to.

i have absolutely no interest in your little game/exercise

my only concern about this thread is your uncanny ability to mislead so many people with the gibberish you write.

Good on you...the world is never short of a man in a cape.

But if you want to study the Bible on the topic at hand, you can put your suspicions at rest.

Let's just do a little revision for the sake of others on this forum who have received similar treatment by you.

Sept 18 - You wrote that my posts are "complete gibberish" and "complete nonsense." Your comments proved that you did not understand what was posted, neither in English or comprehension.

Sept 21 - You said what I wrote was "preposterous" "nonsensical statements with no hope of being true." and again you wrote - "You do not know what you are talking about" then you added "what bothers" you "about Christians" (essentially) having an opinion.

Sept 23 - You said you were "trying to be as gentle as I can." What does that mean, that you want to do harm, and that you have passive aggressive disorder? Then you added that many "people shake their heads at my ignorance." You made a short comment "Actually they weren't" disagreeing with a whole post without a single example or selection of criticism. That's unfair don't you think?

Sept 27 - You demonstrated that you do not have a general knowledge of scripture, then you challenged me on education, training and qualifications as a person. Then you aired your 'credentials' and called me on "false information" without giving any reason or specific example, even after I asked for it.

Oct 7- You claimed that i ignored your post and then said that I wrote "complete nonsense."

Oct 12 - "you are a funny guy" you replied when I asked for the specifics of your broad and unsubstantiated criticisms.

Oct 15 - You claimed I insulted your God and insinuated that I think I am an authority, then you added that I am "clueless" "misleading too many on this website." "Full of nonsense and ridiculous ideas" and "off the mark and hurting the church" (you gave me a lot more credit than I could have dreamed of)

Oct 16 - You said that I was opportunistic by "sounding off on a discussion board." And you questioned God's willingness to inspire people with truth about nature and the Bible, and said that a worldly education is better.

Tuesday - I offered scriptures on the topic which you may have had the opportunity to read sometime. To which you replied that I am "not qualified" to give you "homework assignments" as if I was issuing hard tasks.

Then you added that you have "absolutely no intent in your (my) little game/exercise."

Then you spoke about your "concern" over me "misleading many people" by "gibberish."

And lately, you claim to be "insulted" and that my posts are unchristian and that they fail "miserably."

You obviously have a strong and persistent need to vent, do you know why you would feel that way constantly?

What has happened to you, to make you so obnoxious? Do you want the Lord to heal you of that? You know God cannot accept you into heaven if you do not make an effort to overcome these issues, you cannot attack people.

If I have insulted you, I'm sorry and apologize, and I am sorry that you are suffering on some level, possibly unawares over some issues that have never been addressed. You need to be able to confront your own life issues and be comforted by an understanding of yourself. God is with you on this, never forget it.

there are some things you should know-- i am allowed by God to call you out if  1) you are telling people completely unrealistic and nonsensical things that have nothing to do with the Bible; 2). if you are speaking gibberish and complete nonsense; 3) that your statements have no hope of being true.

Then actually it has been just you I have said such things about because you are not bringing any truth to the website. you are bringing absolute gibberish and nonsense.

Sept 23 - You said you were "trying to be as gentle as I can." What does that mean, that you want to do harm, and that you have passive aggressive disorder?

it means that i recognize the limitations of binary and know how words are mis-read by others.

every thing you listed above is true when it concerns you. Remember we are allowed by the Bible to rebuke those who are saying non-scriptural things. How do you think people learn when they are in error? we do not give those people a pass and ignore what they say, we challenge them, address their comments and point out what they are saying is not true and has no bearing on the scripture you are talking about.

Passing the buck to avoid your own missteps is not smart nor Christian. While the apology is accepted, you have a lot to learn because you do not know what you are talking about, you do not know how to use scripture correctly and you do not know what scripture is actually saying. Thinking that you do is not the same as actually knowing.

When Jesus said 'ye shall know the truth...' he did not mean you blindly accept everything told you or you read as truth. You still need to double check the information to make sure it is from God and that it is the truth. Then you need to make sure it is inline with what God is saying in the Bible. It is not an easy process and it takes time.

You also do not understand many things especially how education works as God leads some people to secular institutions to get their education. You cannot trash that part of life simply because many institutions teach error. You are insulting God by your lack of understanding of how he and the Christian faith works.

i am not being obnoxious nor am I venting. i am describing your posts to a 't'  The truth may hurt but maybe you will learn something and seek counsel on how to get to the truth so that you are not hurting the church.

The apology I gave was conditional, I said IF I have insulted you, and I didn't insult you, so you don't get the apology which you thought to have accepted.

Please read my post on Oct the 22nd, and tell me if it was God who allowed you to speak like that, or your own self.

then you do not know what an apology is nor how to live peaceably with others.  your lack of Christian application is troubling.  why make a conditional apology and why make one at all when you do not mean it? you may not like my words but you know what, they are what they are. Jesus corrected people when they were wrong and he was not nice about it. think about it.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
