Oh, what joy for those

whose rebellion is forgiven,

whose sin is put out of sight!

Yes, what joy for those

whose record the LORD has cleared of sin,

whose lives are lived in complete honesty!

When I refused to confess my sin,

I was weak and miserable,

and I groaned all day long.

Day and night your hand of

discipline was heavy on me.

My strength evaporated like

water in the summer heat.

Finally, I confessed all my sins to you

and stopped trying to hide them.

I said to myself, "I will confess

my rebellion to the LORD."

And you forgave me!

All my guilt is gone.

Psalm 32:1-5 NLT

Far too many believers are miserable because they seem to believe God is all about making people miserable & taking things away from them; but as this verse states, we're miserable because we won't let God rid our lives of the very things that are making us miserable. The successful believer's life is all about letting go & letting God. It's about yielding to the very real influence of the new life within every truly born again believer. It's about trusting God to decide who & what we personally need in our lives, & who & what we don't need in our lives. There are times when God puts people & situations in our lives that will make us very miserable; but he does so for our ultimate good, & we need to learn to yield to the work He's doing in our lives instead of struggling with it. We need to learn to say, OK LORD. What am I supposed to be learning in all of this

Whoa Bro! Back up & read your Bible again. God doesn't always answer your prayers for a lot of reasons, among them these;

and whatsoever we ask we receive of him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.

1st John 3:22

And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:

1st John 5:14

God answers the prayers of those who keep His commandmenst & do the things that please Him when their prayers are according to His will. There are a whole lot of times when we're praying for things that aren'w within the confines of His will for us personally, & if He gave us those things they'd ruin our lives.

Amen godsmarine. We walk by faith and not by sight. God never promised it would be easy, I just know that I don't go through the tough times alone. I don't want to be in harmony with the universe, I want to be in harmony with God.

Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Psalm 23:5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

The Lord never promised that we would always have it easy, or that we would have no adversities. He did promise that if we are His, He will be with us through it all.

This falls under the copout belief of God's answer to prayer is sometimes no. How can you pray, believing that God has already given you what you've asked for, if you believe the answer may be no.

Scripture clearly says "you have not, because you ask with wrong motives".

Yes, the answer is sometimes "no". And, with the right Spirit in us, that leads us to examine why we are asking. In most cases, it's the typical age old problem - me, me, me & me.

Once again those of you who have no faith try to corrupt those of us who do. Jesus clearly told us that faith is the key to answered prayer, and there were no stipulations. I refer to verses:

Matthew 21:22

If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

Mark 11:24

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

And to those who insist that God LISTENS to certain prayers, but not others....

I think you have God confused with Santa Claus.

Jesus said in Luke 17:20-21 “The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, the kingdom of God is within you".

Therefore, if you would stop begging and beseeching a far away God up in the sky and start looking within yourself for God, perhaps you wouldn't have the need to create excuses for your unanswered prayers.

Jesus also gave you other examples of the kingdom of God, such as:

Mark 4:31-32

It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest seed you plant in the ground. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds of the air can perch in its shade.”

Luke 13:21

It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough.”

Luke 8:10

He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, “ ‘though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand.’

So you see, the secret has been given to you, but you do not understand because you are too busy slamming the door to the kingdom shut, in the faces of others who want to get in.

The kingdom of God is omnipresent, everywhere at all times. Therefore, God's grace (blessings) are everywhere at all times. If you are not receiving them, don't blame God, because it is you who insist that God (Santa Claus) blesses some, and not others.

Tubal Cain, you must be word of faith. I was an ordained word of faith minister myself for years until I saw just how much scripture they take out of context to prove the things they want to believe. I know enough about that movement to know that you'll never see the truth unless God reveals it to you Bro. I've been there myself. I was just as indoctrinated into their beliefs as you are right now; but praise be to God He loved me enough to fill my heart with His light & reveal the truth to me about what I believed. We can talk until we're blue in the face; but you'll never receive anything we say unless God opens your heart to see it.

Tubal, If you sought the truth diligently and opened your heart, God would show you sense of everything. All of your questions would have an answer with merit. It would only take one thing for you to get there, have just a little Faith and let Jesus change your life. Tubal why don't you give God a chance ? I don't understand why, you are a very inteligent person. You find things missing in your calculations of the truth. He will show it all to you. I encourage you as I have before to seek the truth completely. He will change your life forever.. What do you have to lose ? In His Peace.......

And I have no need for a God to return some day, because the one that is here now is sufficient for me.

Tubal, Jesus who is God will return, so my question is to you , who is Your God ??

As beautiful as her poetry is, it is nothing more than fiction. Nor does it support your views. God is with us, yet the bible is clear that bad things happen to us at times for His purposes in our lives.

Rev 21:1-7 "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. (2) And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (3) And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. (4) And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (5) And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. (6) And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. (7) He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son."

There WILL be pain in this life.

There WILL be tears in this life.

There WILL be sorrow in this life.

None of us are promised an easy sorrow free life here on earth, and the bible CLEARLY tells us this. We are told to always be joyful, but this doesn't mean we will always be happy.

For the longest time, I was one of those people who thought if you just had enough faith, everything would be fine. I couldn't understand why some people stayed so down. I assumed they were not trusting in God enough...that they lacked faith. THEN God got my attention! He showed me the truth, and I will NEVER again in my life look at someone who is hurting and say, "HAVE MORE FAITH!"

It is the people who believe life can be a breeze with enough faith, who hurt those who aren't breezing through. If you are someone who believes none of us have to endure sorrow in this life, you have NO idea how much damage you can do to someone who is having a hard time. I would advise you to PLEASE not even talk to that person.....don't even try to help them.

blessings!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
