This is something I saw on a christian network the other day. A Christian group interview members of a Church of satan. The hail to satan and worship him. I have no right to judge people but to me this is sick and twisted. I can't believe people are so weak minded to think this could be good. But at the same time, they said the same things about worshipping God. Did anyone else see this?

Hi Constant.

Nope sorry I did not see it.

I just wanted to comment though that we have every right to judge people...many Christians take the Scripture in Matthew 7:1-6 completely out of context and have some wishy-washy concept about not being able to judge and it happens again and again.

What we are not to do is to make harsh and rash judgments that are false or have their origin in unrighteousness.

Thats all. :P

Yeah well to me I have no right to judge people because I have done wrong. I guess I have some different beliefs than others. :P

Hello Constant, Yes I saw it. It was on Way of the Master, I think it was on TBN.

I too felt a little uncomfortable about why he was interviewing this guy, but maybe it was to show other christians that this stuff is real, and its out there and it mostly attracts young kids.

Kids, especially teenagers are looking for something real. Did you notice the guy was also interviewing others at some sort of wierd rock concert where they were all dressed like Marliyn Manson?

I dont think the show was to glorify satan but to make us aware of what is out there . I did see where they witnessed to a guy at the concert.

As far as judgement goes, that I leave up to God. I will say however that as believers in Yeshua, we do have the right to judge the Sins. We have to say what is right and what is wrong. I think this is what the program was referring to. Shalom

The Way of the Master, is a show about open air evangelism. The idea is to teach Christians how to go out and evangelize the world. This is not limited just to Christian venues, sometimes you have to go directly into the lair of the beast to save his prey from being consumed. I would suggest going to their website, they have ALOT of great information on there. http://www.wayofthemaster.com

I would NEVER recommend ANYONE go into the lair of the beast unless and until they receive marching orders from the Commander in Chief, the Lord Jesus Christ.

While the motives are perhaps noble and well intended, not all persons are mature or grounded properly to stand firm in the dragons' lair.

Note: The military never sends new recruits into battle but trains and rigorously prepares them in both body and mental conditioning.

The Lord equips us for spiritual battle using His own tools of the trade, including the elements of battle (sword, breastplate, shield, helmet, et al).

We must also know well how to use each one.

Battle is what we are "prepared" for but one is never sent into such an environment until they are mature, grounded and annointed in power from on high.

Wow, great feedback. Yes The way Of The Master with Kirk Cameron in it. Yes that was the one. I usually don't watch that program but it caught my eye when they were interviewing the people at the Ozz Fest Rock Concert. I myself listen to that music but I am not influenced in any way by it. It is just entertainment to me but to some people they let it inside of them. It's really sad when that happens.

we are not to be judgemental, but we are to spread the Word of God.... We can share the Word of God and what is right and what is wrong with out being judgemental.....

as far as knowing what is right and what is wrong, the Spirit of God will let you know if you stay with the Lord. this falls under the Discernment of Spirits.

if we use the "Rules/Laws" to go against some one, to condemn them ourselves, that is not right..... but if we see a brother falling away, we are to correct them in love.... and if they do not listen to us, then we are to go and have another with us as witness and try to let them know they are going by the way side, that they are goofing up..... if they ignore both people, then we are to take it to the Body of believers, and if they still reject the counsel, then we have done what we are suppose to do....

there are times that people do not know they are messing up, and if we do not correct them when we see it, then how are they going to know they goofed? if we are afraid of offending someone, then we may be condoning their actions which might be sending them down the fast track to hell....

if a person does something wrong, and no one stops them or brings their attention to it, then that person may continue doing this, not knowing it is wrong, and then it can develope into a habit which will be much harder to break then if they was corrected at the first......

if the person is feeling condemned about it after some one sharing with them that it is wrong, then it might have been a good thing to have corrected them...

not too long ago, while on a house call, i was sharing the Gospel with a couple of ladies, and one of them asked me to place her on the prayer list for medical concerns, the other told me that she was trying to get started in business and asked for me to pass the word for her that she was starting, I asked what kind of business it was, she said palm reading, i explained that God does not approve of that, and went on to explain why.... the woman was a "professed" Christian....

when the conversation was complete, i believe she will be looking into a different line of work, but she did not know that it was not a good thing to be a medium for the spirits........

did I condemn her? no, I did not, I did not convict her either, but I did give her the information that was set before us in Gods Word..

if I had not let her know that she was not doing what God wants ( a medium / soothsayer / fortune teller is an abomination to God ( Leviticus )).....

The Word of God tells us that we are not only to remain innocent of wrong doing, but also to remain BLAMELESS...... we can be totally innocent, but still have things that appear to be not so innocent......

you are correct in saying that we are not to be condemning, that is wrong, but to correct a wrong doing, to bring someone back onto the straight and narrow, that is right..... and in the same token, if we are sat down before counsel, and told that we are messing up, in accordance with the Word of God, then we, also should take heed and listen to Godly Counsel and take our correction to heart.

Cats,

Thanks you for adding that  It is all so often I forget to add the disclaimer to my posts. lol

I would in no way expect a new believer to go to a satanic meeting and try to evangelize. And I realize not everyone is cut out for heated discussion and confrontation with the beast.

So please everyone study, learn, and evangelize. Always follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit in your evangelizing.

God Bless,

Dave

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
