as already said,

unless you are prepaired for battle then it best not go into battle....

this type of battle requires major fasting and prayer, and a well grounded knowledge and also the wisdom to use the knowledge of Gods Word....

each of us is to be in battle, some of us on the front lines, some in the rear ministering to those on the front lines, and ALL OF US on our knees.....

if we are not under attack, or if every thing is going just fine and dandy, then maybe you need to look at your status..... the status we can be in is:

on active duty, in battle.... in constant battle

walking dead.... beem wounded, unable to fight. but still able to pray and minister to those that are still able to fight....

captured..... sitting on can, waiting for others to do the work ( fighting ) to release us from the enemys grasp......

if we are not fighting, we have already been captured......

remember, fasting and prayer... that is how to fight this type of battle, not with power or might, but by the Spirit of the Lord.....

I would NEVER recommend ANYONE go into the lair of the beast unless and until they receive marching orders from the Commander in Chief, the Lord Jesus Christ.

While the motives are perhaps noble and well intended, not all persons are mature or grounded properly to stand firm in the dragons' lair.

Note: The military never sends new recruits into battle but trains and rigorously prepares them in both body and mental conditioning.

The Lord equips us for spiritual battle using His own tools of the trade, including the elements of battle (sword, breastplate, shield, helmet, et al).

We must also know well how to use each one.

Battle is what we are "prepared" for but one is never sent into such an environment until they are mature, grounded and annointed in power from on high.

Very well said Catsmeow, I agree, this is nothing to mess with unless we had direct orders from the Lord. I can't even figure out why they would give this guy air time.

I just wanted to comment though that we have every right to judge people...many Christians take the Scripture in Matthew 7:1-6 completely out of context and have some wishy-washy concept about not being able to judge and it happens again and again.

What we are not to do is to make harsh and rash judgments that are false or have their origin in unrighteousness.

 Exactly brother. We better all learn the difference between righteous judgement, which requires us to remove the plank from our own eye first, and unrighteous judgement, which is nothing less than pointing fingers blindly. Righteous judgement requires preparation and good motive rooted in agape love. The metaphor that Jesus used was akin to removing a splinter from your brother's eye. Do we just let our brother walk around with the splinter, allowing him to risk blindness and the subsequent darkness? Of coarse NOT! We prepare our vision first and then gently remove the splinter from his eye, the most delicate of organs. Of coarse, there is the chance that he will tell us to "bug off" but either way, we must not ignore the splinter.

If we refuse to judge people, how will we ever be able to distinguish between those who we should emulate and those we should avoid?

Be Blessed,

Wayne

I myself listen to that music but I am not influenced in any way by it.  It is just entertainment to me but to some people they let it inside of them.  It's really sad when that happens.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I totally agree.

It really annoys me when teenagers kill someone, commit suicide etc and the type of music they listen to gets the blame and the fact that they obviously have serious mental problems gets ignored. I listen to a lot of rock/metal music and I don't go around killing people/myself, do I? (the answer is no, btw!).

What exactly happened??? I mean, when these "mega"(well known) pastors on TBN are preaching...they are quick to bind and cast out the devil, so why did they(if they did) have a friendly interview with those who openly worship satan as their god. Why under the power of the Holy Spirit didnt they cast the demons out of these poor souls.( I doubt anyone could worship satan as they do without being demon possessed) I find it very strange :emot-handshake:

The TV pastors are supposed to be examples of how God can use someone to advance His kingdom. They are supposed to be filled by the Holy Spirit...the same Holy Spirit that was in Jesus, who when coming across someone demon possessed...CAST THE DEMONS OUT!!! NOT SIT AND HAVE TEA WITH THEM. LOL :emot-fail:

I would like to have all here keep a friend and brother in Christ in prayer, he use to be caught up in the occult, he use to be a former priest, a high priest, until Christ snagged his heart.

this past Saterday, he led a team of law enforcment officers to a place of satanic worship, and 85 people, 85 upstanding citizens, were arrested for satan worship ( actually not for worship, but there was a 3 month old on the alter with the sacraficial knife beside it where it had been dropped when the law enforcement started the raid.

late saterday evening, they were digging up the graves of other infants that had been sacraficed.

this brother, is having death threats on him and his family. He is not afraid, he is just wanting guidance and strength. no matter what happens he said, whether the Lord allows him to die, that is the Lords will, if the Lord protects him, then that is the Lords will, and he fully trusts in the Lord.

folks, dealing with the spirits of evil is not something to be taken lightly.

i have a young lady friend whos biological father was/is a high priest in a coven, and she was suppose to be made a priestes when she turned 16. the girls mother did not know what he was at the time they married, and she had been used/abused for their pleasure. The girl and her mother have been avoiding any contact with the father for about 18 years. there have been times when their location had been found out, and attacks on the girl would take place, physical attacks from the spirit world. one time she was litterally picked up and thrown down the stairs of their house, another she was picked up and thrown across the room against the wall......

during a street rally, while a couple men were wittnessing and praying with people, Rick, looked up and seen a man on a motorcycle, cruisin, he ran him down, and gotthe man to stop..... Rick started wittnessing, only to decern that the man was being controled by a spirit. Rick and a couple others, started pleading the Blood of the Lamb, praying over this man, and the spirit spoke to them, hissing as a snake, and the man fell to the ground and was squirming as a snake. they kept praying over him, rebuking the spirit, and the man rose, and accepted Christ..... this does not happen with out properly preparing ones self for such a task, thru prayer and fasting and living every moment for Christ.

my friend and brother confirms this does happen, and much more.

Even Christ wanted to know who he was dealing with when he came upon the man in the tombs..... you have to know what you are dealing with. you have to be prepared, ground in the Word, and able to use the Word against the enemy....

if you feel as thou you are being lead to go up against the spirits of darkness, against principalities, against the demons, then you best spend many many many hours and days and always, on your knees before the Lord and fasting..... we are told that to go against this sort, we must have much prayer and fasting behind us, so we know what we are dealing with and how to deal with it.

the first time a person thinks they are ready, they are allowing pride to come into their spirit and will be defeated.....

do not think that just cause they are spirits, dont mean that they can not touch you. they can, and they will.... they are not something to be messed with with out the entire armor of God, not in the least....

dont get me wrong.....

WE ARE ALL SUPPOSE TO BE GROUND OUT IN SUCH A WAY THAT WE CAN TAKE THEM AS NEED BE. WE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE SET AND READY FOR ANYTHING THE LORD HAS SET BEFORE US. the only way to do this is thru fasting and prayer..... and reading and communing with the Lord..... Lifing for the Lord..... focusing totally on the Lord.....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
