Are we redeemed by the blood of Jonh?

Actually, the deaths of Nadab and Abihu correspond to the deaths of Ananias and Saphira: both twosomes brought a forbidden offering before the Lord, and he killed them.

Also, John the Baptist died before the New Covenant was established at the Last Supper.

It wasn't that the offering of Ananias and Saphira was forbidden per se, but that it was presented with deception, otherwise I think your analogy works.

It wasn't that the offering of Ananias and Saphira was forbidden per se, but that it was presented with deception, otherwise I think your analogy works.

Perhaps a better word would have been defiled, because both offerings were tainted with sin.
