I know someone who is committing benefit fraud. Should I report them (Which is my gut instinct) or it Christian to turn-the-other cheek ?

Pray for guidance.

And keep this verse in mind:

1 Peter 4:8

Most important of all, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.

If you know of the fraud and do not report it you are complicit of the act as if you committed it.

Who are you ? Who's government do you abide by ?

The Creator Yahweh(God)? HIS WORD - Scripture ? The Messiah Yeshua ?

"Luke 12:12-14 Amplified Bible (AMP)

12 for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.”

Covetousness Denounced

13 Someone from the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, tell my brother to divide the family inheritance with me.” 14 But He said to him, “Man, who appointed Me a judge or an arbitrator over [the two of] you?”

John 8:8-10Amplified Bible (AMP)

Then He stooped down again and started writing on the ground. They listened [to His reply], and they began to go out one by one, starting with the oldest ones, until He was left alone, with the woman [standing there before Him] in the center of the court.10 Straightening up, Jesus said to her, “Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?”

Fraud is theft, no matter how you slice it.  Honestly, the only thing I know to tell you is to pray about it and follow the way He leads you.  And welcome to Worthy.

I think one risk could be if the person is innocent and goes to prison, then it could be on my conscience if it were me that initiated the process.

Not even the same thing. Reporting a crime such as this is not akin to what Christ and Scripture is teaching here. moralcompass, if you are being advised to not make a judgement on this person who is committing a crime that is hurting scores of other people, then you are receiving bad advice. This is not like adultery at all and should never be viewed as such.
