I'm curious about a couple of things.

One: Do you believe that our pets or companion animals will be in heaven?

Two: Do people have to wait to see heaven after they die or do they go straight there?

I ask the first one because I hope and pray that I can spend eternity not only with God but with my animals too. I want to believe in the "Rainbow Bridge." :)

The second one I ask about is because I have heard a couple of different things.

I just need some clarification on this.

Thanks so much.

Blessings

Jen

I believe there will be animals in heaven. I have no idea if any of our personal pets will be there, the Bible says nothing about that.

Heaven - the Bible says "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". However, there are also places in the Bible that make me question whether we will immediately be in Heaven after death. I really don't know for sure. :21:

You bet I believe we will see your animals again. I had a dream one time just after my father went home to be with the Lord. I had lost a dog just a few months before my dad died. I was having a very hard time. I was a daddys girl and even though I knew my dad was with the Lord I was have a very tough time. I had lost my dad and my little dog Punkin. I saw my dad in a dream, sitting in a beautiful place and Punkin was sitting on his lap. Both looked healthy, and young again. I knew they were both OK and that helped me so much. Yes I know we will see them again. And yes I think that when we die we go home to be with the Lord at that moment.

Greetings Cares4critters,

One: Do you believe that our pets or companion animals will be in heaven?

Eccl 3:18-21 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. 19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yea, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no preeminence above a beast: for all is vanity. 20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. 21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

Two: Do people have to wait to see heaven after they die or do they go straight there?

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

2 Corinthians 5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Are the Acts verses below the fulfillment of John 14:3?

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Acts 7:55-60 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. 57 Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, 58 And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul. 59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. 60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

Blessings,

Dad Ernie

A television minister named Jack van Imp e has recorded a video tape on the subject of animals, trying to prove from Bible quotes that they will be in heaven.I thought the whole thing was really silly and his Bible verses convinced me of nothing. However the Holy Spirit has told me that his videotape is accurate. Our pets will be in heaven with us!.That's really great news to me if God can figure out some way to get my dog to stop barking.

To comfort people most ministers teach that upon death we go to heaven immediately. The problem is that the Bible states that when people die they pass into a sleep-like state that will last until Jesus returns at which time the "dead in Christ" will be brought back to life to meet Him in the clouds (the rapture).Jesus' statement about being in paradise today is frequently quoted but we learn by reading further that after He came back to life,Jesus did not go to heaven immediately and even had to tell his disciples not to touch his body for that reason. For this reason,it looks like the "paradise" he spoke of,referred to the sleep-like state the Bible speaks of in other verses.

When we go to heaven and our pets are there, I'm going to get ran over by two horses, several dozen rabbits, a bunch of ferrets, and countless cats and dogs. And probably a few birds will be in there also. I just hope I don't have to clean up after all of them!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
