See you quoted exactly what I was saying:

  • Romans 6:1, 2
1 What will we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase?
2 May it NEVER be!  How will we who died to sin still live in it?

"still live in"

He says  "still live in" sin.

he does not say  "still commit" sin.

There is a difference between the two.

One can stumble and fall and commit sin, but not be living in sin - ie not be unrepentant and make it their lifestyle.

Christ's walk carrying His cross is an example to us of carrying our crosses.    Christ stumbled and fell -  not once, not twice, but three times.  Each time He didn't stay there, He got up and continued, even when He could not carry the cross by Himself any longer.

In this He gave us an example to follow when we stumble and fall in carrying our crosses.

What about the words just before that?  "HOW WILL WE WHO DIED TO SIN..." How will we?  We wont, because we DIED TO SIN.
He who is DEAD is FREE FROM SIN.  Dead = no sin.  (If the son sets you free, you are free INDEED.)  Death, burial, resurrection.  Baptism.  That is how you stop sinning.
You DIE, (Death), ((Here the sinning stops)) you are buried, (Burial of the old man) and resurrection, (Alive with NO SIN.)

We don't live in sin.  Sin is not our lifestyle.   But that does not mean we can't stumble and fall.  It means we don't remain there.   We get back up, deny ourselves and take up our cross and follow Him.

I have not been baptized in the name of Yashua for remission (getting rid) of sins.  After I am baptized, then I will sin no more.  I have yet to find a place to baptise me in that way.  Death, to the old man.  Burial of the old man, and his ways.  Resurrection of the new man.  Since the old man is GONE, the new man can live.  Death, burial, and resurrection.  That is how we stop sinning...

From your own words: I have not been baptized in the name of Yashua for the remission of sins.

If this is the case you are welcome to post here, but your posts don't have power in them because you have not the Holy Spirit in you.  And therefore you cannot understand Scripture, especially the deeper aspects of Scripture.  In essence we cannot trust the words you post, or believe the words you say.  We do not take spiritual advice from non believers.

The "second (2nd) coming" is not future.
I asked a few scholars to tell me the reason Titus came to destroy the land, and burn the temple.  Some said because it was just the rebellion of the people that brought their own demise.  Another said it was because the time of the Jews was over, and it was the time of the Gentiles.
I thought about that.  For several years.  What was the time of 66 to 70 A.D. and why did it happen.
If we have a teacher showing us how to stop being mean to each other, and we do not listen to this teacher, then mean things will continue to happen.  It really is not hard to understand how this works.  If we listen to this teacher, then the mean things will stop.  People would rather not listen to the teacher because we think we got it all figured out.  Why is there still war?  Because people chose to ignore the teacher of peace.  THAT IS ALL.
The answer is because YAH was judging the Hebrews who killed his son.  Titus was the instrument.  Just as the Assyrians were the instrument to judge the northern tribe of Israel, so Nebuchadnezzar was the instrument for the land of Judah.

When Christ returns it is written that he will rule with a rod of iron .. you do understand the implications of such a reign yes?

When One rules with a rod of iron, no man can 'choose to ignore' and do as he pleases and learn & wage wars as though Christ were powerless to stop them .. if He were powerless He would not have a rod of iron now would He.

Which is why this is declared :

Isaiah 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

This has never once happened in history nor can it until the Prince of Peace takes the reigns and guarantees it .. to say otherwise is contrary to the declaration .. we must listen to the Lord rather than listening to men telling us otherwise.

You are a sad, sad, sad, person...This is your excuse now to not open your eyes.  I am more a believer than you will ever be.  And the PROOF is in this sick post of yours.  That is how sad you are, and beyond.  I guess if you need something done in life, and you do not know how to do it yourself, and a non-believer does, I am sure you will not go to that person to get it done.  You go to Walmart, K-Mart, A grocery store, a gas station, a c-store, and I am sure you buy from believers only, right?  Excuses, excuses, excuses.
You need to start saying, "In Montana Marv"
Just like when Yashua didnt "fit the bill" in the eyes if the Hebrew people who lived in his time, they mocked him, and scorned him, and killed him.  That was their sad excuse to continue living in the lie they were living in...

Quit being disrespectful to me.  You are not an ambassador for Yashua, and YAHVAH.  The problem is that you are stuck on yourself, and you can not see past yourself.  If you have something to say about me, say it to me...That is how it is going to be!

There is SO MUCH proof in the OT that saying things were not fulfilled, is like saying the titanic didnt sink. Let us reason together, and come to a logical conclusion.  It is obvious that Yashua, (Jesus) was the embodiment of the OT.  In the flesh.  But what I am saying is that every law, every thing that was in the OT not only points to Yashua, but was about the messiah.  Here is the proof.  The first day of the first month, the glory filled the tabernacle after Moses finished building it.  2000 years later, on the same day, first day of the first month, Yashua was baptized, and he was filled with the spirit of the Almighty.  Then, he went into the wilderness for 40 days, until he revealed himself.  The day he started his ministry, was the 14th day of the second month.  That was the same day the manna started in the OT.  Then there is the thing about the Amalekites.  That was to show that there was going to be "war with the fleshly man/carnal man", from generation to generation.  Before this, the baptism, which is the death, burial, and resurrection. That is what baptism is, showing that we have died to the old man, and were buried with Yashua, and rose with him into his resurrection.  A new man.  The awesome thing that YAH did, was give us a timeline for EVERYTHING the messiah would do.  From the time he was baptized, until the time Titus came to destroy the city, and burn the temple.  Exodus 12 is the passover.  Chapter 13, is the death, 14 is the burial, and 15 is the resurrection.  16 is Miriam, (Mary) praising the death of the rider and his horse.  This same thing happened thousands of years later when Mary rejoiced.  Remember this when you read revelation next time... Then you read all the way to Joshua when he takes over Jericho, and there you see Titus entering the picture exactly 40 years after the passover.  The EXACT same thing happened in Egypt to Joshua entering Jericho.  EVERYTHING, including the  1000 years was fulfilled...the proof of the 1000 years is right after Joshua died, and read what happens for the next thousand years with Israel in the OT.  Then read history to see what happened in church history, for the first thousand years...It is AMAZING!

Hi CB1,

Maybe think about this ..

When Christ returns it is written in several places in the OT that every city on earth will be destroyed and become ruins never to be rebuilt or inhabited ever again except by the animals.

This of course has not happened yet.

If we look to revelations we will find out when this happens, and it happens at the 2nd coming period after the 7th trumpet / vial :

Revelation 16:17-18

17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

This earthquake will be unprecedented in human history ' such as was not since men were upon the earth'  .. of which Isaiah touches on :

Isaiah 24:20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.

Mans rule over the earth, independent of Christ, will never ever 'rise again' after this event, besides the shaking, just imagine the tsunamis .. the horror .. the death .. and all on a global scale never before seen .. again, this has not happened yet either.

Isaiah also mentions an edict from God concerning this too :

Isaiah 14:21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

And those cities Isaiah is speaking of are found being destroyed here :

Revelation 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

So IF Christ had already returned, instead of seeing New York, we would be seeing a ruinous heap, instead of London .. rubble, instead of every single city on this planet, we would be witness to their ruins .. again, this just hasn't happened yet on a global scale and happened all at once besides.

And what of this :

Revelation 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

This is global don't forget .. since when in human history has 45kg hailstones rained down on mankind on the same day of an unprecedented global earthquake with tsunamis devastating every city on planet earth taken place?

Not something soon forgotten in the annals of history wouldn't you agree? Let alone the topography.

If you can not explain this away in spirit and in truth, then please reconsider from whom you are learning your doctrine from because I see your zeal, but I also see it being abused by those ' teachers' denying our Lord's literal & future return .. this leaves you wide open to receive the False Prophet instead (Antichrist) without even realizing the current path that doctrine has subtly putting you on .. because it is disarming you from preparing for the coming test coming upon the whole world.

Regards.

No my friend, there is no proof there for your claim. I am very sorry.

And what will happen to you if you die before you are baptized?

It does not matter what will happen, because there is no proof of anything I say, according to you.

Nah, you are talking about force, and the Almighty does not force anyone to do anything.  Neither does Yashua.  What is being said here about the rod of iron is that he will keep the sheep safe from predators. He is ruling now.  And he is our refuge.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
