I think of these two: Jer 29:11 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Proverbs 3:5,6 - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Blessings to all. "And the peace of God with passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. What a wonderful promise!

I think the following is the most comforting to me personally. Luke 21:14-19 14 "So make up your minds not to prepare beforehand to defend yourselves; 15 for I will give you utterance and wisdom which none of your opponents will be able to resist or refute. 16 "But you will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death, 17 and you will be hated by all on account of My name. 18 "Yet not a hair of your head will perish. 19 "By your endurance you will gain your lives. NASB No matter what they do to us and no matter when, I don't have to worry about eternity. Makes me sleep better nights (or days for that matter)

Guest Thomas I believe
The word of God is our nourishment. The more we understand the truth that He reveals to us the more we grow... Heres another one of my favorites.. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV)
