My first reaction – was fear, with mouth open. Remember this John 8.1- 11 might fall (with a Mk 16 ending). My reaction was to not daring to see much into this – as a true finding. For me this finding is like 2 of these XXL church-roof-leaks. Yes, this is real. You too old ones: Trying to play like toddlers in you soap boxes – of slandery in old testament things - far too long. Yes in these things it would have always been good to learn from the more understanding ones. Also my beginners steps were - not daring to see much into this – as a true finding.

So today there is some understanding on my side. Having myself gone through this at a time. However after some 12 y of realy knowing this – I am much more in the calm. My soft smile to all this is there: Oh, how much we all loved these (seeming so valuable) extras. There will be a second discussion – for this. See this - cit.: #6 footnote. Kelhoffer 2001: 81pg

My- Prayer Request for – the very good leadership personal in greek text knoledge …DE

ps. NA (Nestle Aland text) was 2012 at a 28 th change. All changes are 2 or 3 years later taken by every bible society - world wide. Barbara Aland was 22 y married to K. Aland and has lead his work on to new standarts since 1994. She is now in her 79 th year. And still functions as Co-Autor at Muenster -Greek NT research. The true and upright succesion – A lokal leadership to uprise for the next 3 decads in great scolars quality at the University town (muenster Germany) is - much wanted. This is a mater that God wants to handle.                         (Having had only a glimpse here of what is happening )-       We are to pray into that one – please.

Passages that they now have started to handle- for the last 2- 3 years at INTF muenster DE – are: Acts, and starting to review gospel sections soon. (30 verses – were again changed at this NA 28- 2012 greek text readings – of catholoic letter. ) similar style - of deep cross-check work will still come.

That is a good prayer request, melony!  And I have to thank you for reviving fond memories: back in the days of my youth I studied in Münster and got introduced to New Testament studies and the basics of textual criticism there. My Greek would have been too bad to go into that field myself but I was left with deep respect for those who did: One really has to have a burning love for the Bible to immerse oneself so deeply in it! When all of Münster went swimming in the canal on a hot summers day, they’d still be brooding over a “καί”, well knowing that it wouldn’t make a difference to the meaning of the text and still trying to find out whether the original text had it or not.

The wealth of manuscripts that were found and analyzed since guys like Tischendorf started their search is overwhelming. And who knows how much more are waiting in the desert sands. Praise be to God!

Greek -Text-Research leadership is needed (lokaly in DE)

Please pray ye all (that read here): This midle sise University Town- will need real Leadership in high quality scolarship. (chief researcher Mrs. Barbara Aland will not continue another 2 decades...). Evaluation of core gospel text has already started... A single person that is backing up all values with a personal lifestyle. A christian with standarts – help ye God! This is greek research!!

Since 1963 revision – there is the full shift towards the Codex findings already. After this the task became more complex. In textwork - to only go one step further – like @yunobet described - is also laying foundation for more traces and preparing later decisions. But an ability to oversee and structure well that whole system of Muenster (de) collection. To grasp and guide more of the collecting of that digital photo documentation. [P 45 Dublin reads: Mt 20- 21, 25- 26, Mk 4- 9, 11- 12, Lk 6- 7, 9- 14, Jh 4- 5, 10- 11, Ac 4- 17. (page Mt 25.41- 26.39 at vienna) ] A P45 Chester Beatty papyrus is not that rediscovered. But this papyrus list growth continuassly [130 2015, 134 Feb 2016], not allone with findings while opening and photodocumenting more privat collections. So keeping close contacts with qulified Scolars (online in digital photo-research) and always being uptodate with what happens at the peripherie also.

Verry good scriptur fragment

Eusebius is the significant – early (320- 340 ad) source. SEE: Wittness of Eusebius ad martinum, Kelhoffer 80- 83 p/ Original ending of Mark 2014: 93pg. Mk 16.9 ... they were afraid.“ is the ending „in nearly all the copies.“ that Esebius knew.

same thing with - Johns 8a Gospel [that makes it 2 passages – that loose out  12 verses].

Clear stands for/ or agaainst a KJV greek text:

A bishop in Syria wrongly decided 280 ad for his (alexandrian) greek text version

330 Eusebius writes clear words „unto Martinum“. He points us towards the trustworthy old text

[a chichister Dean (south UK) can not be referred to - as one that is understanding this content ]

The Reprint 1836 of „unto Martinum“ letter is found @greek text resource center, Paris

2014 a thesis on „unto Martinum“s details comes from Sveden, Upsala

Qualities that Eusebius knew of – are not met by (KJV) alexandrian greek text.

A shorter greek version is documeted to be the quality proven text

My clear no. KVJ cannot – after going through this analysis – be the old greak text. Others like B, and X (read aleph) greek text version may be superior.

Best wishes – Melony

Please pray - for Leadership in quality scolarship.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
