1) To go to another country to preach the gospel, is essentially being a missionary which requires a definite calling. Israel in particular can be a difficult country. To share the gospel in Israel requires knowledge of Hebrew, and an understanding of the laws and culture.

Also, preaching that the kingdom of heaven is at hand worked in Jesus time as the culture of Israel was expecting the Messiah to come very soon. They could look at Jesus and hear what He said and was doing to compare Him to the Messianic prophesies. Today, the culture does not view the Messiah as imminent and most know nothing about Jesus/Yeshua, so to share the gospel means to explain that Jesus was Jewish, and fulfilled some of the prophesies, etc. Today, sharing the gospel with a Jewish person is not a one shot proclamation but rather a study of the NT, a bit at a time, and comparing it to the OT. From start to finish, it can take a 1 year process for each person. If a Jewish person does come to believe in Yeshua, there is often a backlash of friends and family, so after leading a Jewish person to the Lord, it takes standing with them, and helping them. Again, it is not a one shot wonder but a long term commitment.

2) That takes some discernment to no if they will not receive you. When dealing with Jewish culture, culturally, many Jewish people feel obligated to rebuff a person who comes to share the gospel. So, sometimes, while a Jewish person might be interested and drawn, they feel like they must reject rather rudely, but if they are being drawn, they will return to ask more questions, and then once again rudely and strongly reject, only to return again to ask more questions, etc. etc. etc.

I will also say, people like George live in Israel. Missions groups dedicated to sharing the gospel with the Jewish people are in Israel speaking to the Jewish people. (At this time, there is interest). Most of the missions are struggling as few Christians are donating. Especially since churches are divesting from Israel, growing anti-semitism in the churches, groups which discourage sharing the gospel with the Jewish people like Hagee's group.

Thank you for this clear post . It is very helpful to know from those who know .:)

I do not think so...................

The religious rulers had pretty much twisted a lot of it. Especially prophetic events and their role in it.

Ac 13:27  For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.

It's quite clear Jesus warned concerning their doctrines...........................
Mt 16:6  Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
Mt 16:11  How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?
Mr 8:15  And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.

IMO, this is the biggest mistake being made in the Church currently..............Is not listening to these very warnings........

Tit 1:14  Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

Why do you ask ?

Did you see ANYONE claim salvation is possible without Jesus ?

And I didn't see anyone say to wait for salvation as you asked

- Indeed, God says TODAY, if you hear His Voice, do not rebel as they did in the wilderness.....

Why did you fail to answer my question?

Jesus is the Only Way to Salvation. Do you agree?
Do you believe what there is no salvation apart from personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord?

If your answer yes, you can not say, "salvation comes through the Jews", now.

It is never easy to preach Gospel. But I think you're getting a little too complicated.

According to Israel's Central Bureau of Statistics, in 2008, of Israel's 7.3 million people, 75.6 percent were Jews of any background. Among them, 70.3 percent were Sabras (born in Israeli), mostly second- or third-generation Israelis, and the rest are olim (Jewish immigrants to Israel)—20.5 percent from Europe and the Americas, and 9.2 percent from Asia and Africa, including the Arab countries.

Jewish Population of Israel by paternal country of origin
From Europe, America and Oceania by own or paternal country of origin: 1,939,400 = 35.11%
Russia/USSR    923,600 & Poland    198,500
Romania    213,100 & Other Europe    61,100

Statistics published by Israel’s Central Bureau of Statistics on Wednesday show that 27,908 Jews have immigrated to Israel during 2015, consisting of a 16-percent rise over the number of Jews who have made Aliyah (immigrated) to Israel in 2014.

The majority of the Olim (immigrants), 53 percent, came from Russia and Ukraine, many of them fleeing the conflict in the area.

France came in second with 24 percent, as France’s Jewish population is leaving the country in wake of the rampant anti-Semitism and the advent of Islam and Islamic terror in the country. Only nine percent of the Olim came from the U.S.

In Israel the main language is Hebrew, but many people also speak English or Russian. Almost one-third of Israel's population belongs to the Russian-speaking minority. Many of those who were born in Israeli also speak English or Russian. What are the cultural differences between them and us?
For example, You can speak in English and I can speak in Russian & Ukrainian. We don't need to speak in Hebrew to share the gospel in Israel.

Therefore preach the Gospel in Israel is no harder than in USA, Russia or Ukraine.

Whether it's Israel or anywhere else ,people have had the opportunity and accepted or rejected it . Qnts has said enough there . As for France many christians were Jews and many Jews will beome Christians when the time is right .They have a need to settle without feeling harrassed and pressured ,and then God will choose the moment .

I think most misunderstand that Salvation comes collectlvely as well a individually ,and it is collectively that salvation comes through the Jews ,and individually through Jesus Christ . Jesus sets in motion all salvation ,but He has given a special role to the Jews in His  long term plans .Those Jews who believe in God the Father  have had a role in history which supercedes other cultures ,at least this is what I think .

Correct.  That statement was applicable before the crucifixion and the resurrection.  Following the rejection of Messiah by Israel, and following the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple (with the dispersion of the Jews worldwide), salvation comes through the preaching of the Gospel. Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Rom 10:17).  In the meantime, there is a veil over the hearts and minds of Jews who limit themselves to the Old Testament and ignore Christ and the New Testament (2 Cor 3:1-18).

I do not think so. The Jew's here were the apostles that built the Church. So the "jewish" Church is not a "culture" and did not  superceed any cultures.

Rather the Church superceeds all cultures since all nations were brought into it.

Amen Ezra. Some seem to being blinded to the fact that  since 70 ad "Jewishness" (thought, understanding, etc) is all from the Pharisees. That sect is the only sect which survived to rule over Jews and Judaism. But some simply cannot or will not see that. There is absolutely nothing other than Pharisaic Judaism to draw on for "Jewish" understanding since 70 ad. Yet Christ and the Apostles warned about their doctrines............. they especially erred when it came to prophetic writings and application.

Some of Christs first Apostles were John the Baptists disciples...................The disciples of Christ continued in that ministry while Christ walked this earth. JOHN WAS NO PHARISEE.........................

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
