Yes, I agree. But there is only one person on this earth and God that I trust 100%.

Well how will they hear the gospel then. Jesus sat with sinners. All of us I'm sure were one of those categories.

This is ridiculous. If you take this list to it's logical conclusion, nobody could talk to or fellowship with anyone else........ Might as well stop going to church , or chatting in worthy for that matter.

I can say I have never meet a human being that did not fall under at least one of those 40.

I agree with the verses ,, but sadly I have been guilty of being most of them , some of them frequently.

Praise God, that he loved me enough to send his Son our precious Saviour Jesus, to pick me up, a nasty , filthy creature like me .    Wow, that's Love .

I agree.  I, too, have fit into some of the categories above.  I am still a work in progress, and have a long way to go, but I know I am 100% loved by my Father and I love Him the same. :emot-heartbeat:

HE is my ALL.

Blessings,,,,

I don't think the OP is suggesting we do not talk to anyone ,in light of what he posted,,,,,,,having "fellowship with" & going out amongest "them" is 2 entirely different things,,,,,,,,I agree ,that is the Word of God,can anyone not find themselves not on that list? Probably not but Christ in us is certainly not a partaker of any of those things & that is what we Strive for, towards Perfection in Christ Jesus

It is simply a reminder of the type of people we do need to "fellowship" with, the folks that focus on Jesus & love Him,doing the best they can do to "renew their minds" to become the New Creatures that we can ALL be,,,,,,,,as we walk in Spirit & in Truth.

We are indeed,a work in progress & the OP is what we all are Striving for,"by works of ourselves",,,,,No,the complete opposite in fact,by being with the Body of Christ and helping each other to stay focused on our Lord & Savior,He Will do the rest,to help us all start crossing those things off the list!!!!

                                                                       To God be the Glory!

                                                                                                              With love-in Christ,Kwik

Sounds straight forward. We should avoid these sins as well. Who of us have not been guilty of one or another of these sins at times.
