If a Church was sold and turned into a restaurant lets say a Mexican or Italian restaurant would you still eat at that establishment? Why or why not?

Sure I would go to that. Unless they get bad restaurant reviews lol. That would not bother me. I like recycled buildings. Now if it was turned into an atheist church (yes they exist) or a buddhist temple .... that would bother me.Ā

The church is not a building... So I would have no issues eating there. Unless the food was gross of course.

Yes, I would eatĀ in a church. Ā Some churches die. Ā The one I was raised in has, and since it didn't preach God's word, it needed to. Ā It would be great to convert it to a restaurant. Ā Ā Were it a church that held great memories for me I would have some difficulty seeing the building treated crassly. Ā But you can never go home again after you and your family are no longer there. Ā The house and even the town are not quite the same. Ā That would also be true of a church building. Ā It wouldn't be the same without the friends you knew and the steps on which you were married. Ā I have a lot more problem watching a once godly gospel loving denomination change into a liberal club that didn't believe God's word.

I shop an antique store in a church building-- its called "Pray for More Stuff"

the building isnt holy or anything--- I have often thought how cool it would be to live in an old church building-- especially if it had stained glass windows

Lol there is an old bowling alley here that is quite distinctive with local rock walls. It was turned into an antique store and is now a church. Rock is in the name of the church.Ā

There was an old church building up for sale a while back that had been turn into a house. I wanted it soooo badly. It still looked like a church on the outside but a house on the inside. With the stain glass windows. Where the Ā sanctuary was it was made into one large room closed off from the rest of the house. That would have mad a perfect play room or an office/work space from my husband. I loved it. But sadly did not have the money to buy it. So I guess to answer your question. my answer would be yeah. I have no issue with that.

Ā

The old movie theater in myĀ  town was made into a church by the way.
