The right to carry a gun on federal park land, overriding a Reagan law saying they must be locked in a glove compartment or trunk prior to entering. And the right to have a gun in a checked bag on AmTrack, replacing an Bush II law that forbid it.

Actually the Reagan law stated no guns period on federal parks, obamas law said you could as long as they were locked away. Probably the only pro gun law Obama signed in 8 years.

Sorry, but you are just wrong...

Park visitors are able to openly carry legal handguns, rifles, shotguns and other firearms per a federal law approved by Congress and signed by President Barack Obama in February 2010. Concealed weapons are allowed by state statute.

And if you read the thread you will find it is one of two gun laws signed by President Obama.  Neither of which made gun laws more strict, so all the lies about Obama taking away your guns were just that..

It's like a WH press briefing...

Feel free to list all the laws signed by President Obama taking away your gun rights.  I am terribly sorry if reality does not match your right wing view of things, but the FACT of the matter is that guns laws are less strict now than they were 8 years ago.   I know this is not what you have been fed by the GOP and the like of Rush Limbaugh, but the truth is the truth.

Even if I was wrong about the wording, if you think obamas only made 2 laws concerning guns, then I would urge you to take a look at all the executive actions he has taken over the years.

You were not wrong about the wording, you were wrong about the very nature of the law.  An Executive Action basically meaningless, it is a proposal that carries no legal weight at all.   But hey, if I am wrong tell me which of his EA's has infringed upon your right, or mine, to own a gun?   I personally own guns for 3 purposes, investment value, sport shooting and sentimental values. Buying a gun for any of those reasons has not gotten one iota harder with Obama in office.  I will say it again..nobody is coming for your guns, that is a lie you have been fed, nothing more.

You say it makes no bearing, but I can list dozens, if not 100s, of ffl dealers who would disagree with you, because quite frankly, they did make a difference. It made guns harder to sell. It made if harder just to keep an ffl. You can call them meaningless all you want, fact of the matter they're only meaningless to those who dont buy and sell guns, to anyone who actually does-especially those that actively sell the guns (legally I might add) they have indeed had an impact on the gun market.

And let's not forget all the laws he has attempted to pass and failed, because they were such junk laws even he couldn't pull them off. Kind of like this ammunition law.

I buy and sell guns. It is no harder today than it was 8 years ago.  As I said I use guns as an investment option so I buy and sell them accordingly.  I call them meaningless because an executive action carries no weight of law behind it, it is really nothing more than a suggestion by the president.

totally off

So, once again instead of snippy remarks give us a list of all the new laws that have made it harder to buy and/or sell guns.  If you cannot do so, then you are just talking to hear yourself talk.  So, I will be waiting for your list to prove that I am "totally off"

It doesnt have to be obama. California recently passed a tough gun law. Chicago has tough gun laws that were enacted during this administration. Should there be democrat appointees to scotus, we could easily see gun rights erode further nationwide.

As is the right of every state or city.  I do not blame city or state votes on the president.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
