Very true, it is all a matter of perspective.  God has blessed me and my family more than I could have ever imagined and my wife and I also pray daily to thank Him for his blessings.

What I"m seeing in this thread is a lot of fear.  The Bible says: "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love and of power and of a sound mind and well balanced mind"  That is what the Amplified version says.  To be so afraid that we would want to ban pressure cookers is just more then I can understand. I learned 8 years ago when I lost my husband Steve there was very little left in this world to be afraid of.  Living in that kind of fear takes so much out of you, why go there?

Blessings, RustyAngeL

Amen to that. Sadly fear is a excellent tool of control, and as such it is the main tool used to keep us in line and to get us to keep giving up our freedoms and rights.

More gun laws won't stop that though.

That's right Pat, I don't like people messing with my rights and that one seems to be the one people really want to change.   We need to enforce the laws we have, not make new ones.

There is no reason for the born again Christian to fear. Satan would love everyone to fear. There is much for the unbeliever to fear.

wrong kind of fertilizer to blow something up.

I take it you haven't spent a lot of time around cow pies. Don't ask me how I know this, but with the right conditions and know how cow manure can indeed be explosive. Not Timothy McVeigh explosive grant you, more of a couple teenagers in the ER with second degree burns from "here, hold my beer" explosive, so your point still stands, but I figured I'd share. ;-)

The words Jesus spoke the most while He walked the earth??...DO NOT BE AFRAID.

As to riches...did you eat today? have you clean water? do you have a roof over your head? do you have clothes on your back and shoes on your feet?  If the answer is yes than you are wealthy indeed.

Do you know Jesus? If you answered yes than you are rich beyond measure.

It should make everyone feel safer that I don't know what kind of fertilizer blows things up. :mgcheerful:
