Absolutely we are made worthy through the Grace of Christ, isn't that wonderful! However, I do understand that people sometimes struggle with this question at some time in their journey. This world is so full of tricks and submersive messages that seek to undermine our faith its not surprizing that people have these feelings. Thats why we are all here to point out the TRUTH and put an end to those lies. So, I do understand the feeling, but, be of no doubt whatsoever that we are worthy of God's love as stated above. Seems to me that our receiving of God's love has little to nothing to do with our meritorious behavior. That we instead are totally without merit in of ourselves. All the Glory of salvation is to God. None is to any of us for our doings, no matter how righteous they may be, for "all have fallen short of that Glory of God,... Romans 3:23-28 We learn, through the word and the Holy Spirit, practical application of how to live and act in a manner that may be termed worthily, but that is not the same as being worthy. Worthily puts action into the matter -we are in our sanctification process to learn behaving in a worthily manner. We tend to grieve the Holy Spirit when we do not act worthily, an action "verb". We act worthily because we have been led to act, any value ( worth) is a result, not a cause of our standing before God. As to Adam and Eve sinning. I would bring up as an aside yet one of some significance I believe, that Adam sinned as the head of the human family of two, and it is his burden to have been the cause of the fall of creation, just as it is Jesus alone, the second Adam, that is the redeemer from that fall.- but that is another subject I suppose.
