What a beautiful day the Lord has given us here in the Volunteer state! I asked a question in another thread that 'was on fire", and didn't get a response. I've tried to find this in scripture but so far no luck. If memory serves, the Lord will be returning from the East, is that correct? Every cemetery I've ever seen, the bodies are aligned and facing East. Where's the scripture that it states that, or is it tradition?

Had I waited to ask just 1-2 more days I'd have answered my own question. I started reading the New Testament again and just last night I left off at Matthew 22:

The Sun rises in the East....hence the Christ Jesus will bring forth the new dawn from the east. Peace Mark

I trust you are referring to the Second Coming of Christ and not the Rapture (since the Lord does not descend to earth at the Rapture). The Mount of Olives is on the east side of Jerusalem, and that is where the Lord will descend (Zechariah 14:3,4): Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south. This would have to be the Second Coming and not the rapture.
