COGTHW, how come those other verses does not include baptism in order to be saved? Are those that wrote those in error? Do they speak against eachother? If so, is the Bible in error and we can no longer trust it? No I say.

I can come up with any number of scenarios where a person can get saved, but die before having access to baptismal water.  

Your false teaching basically states that Jesus isn't enough, that He is insufficient for salvation.

I think that when you accept Christ you are baptized in the holy spirit and the physical baptism in water is symbolic of that.  I got baptized as a Jehovah's Witness when I was too young to even know what I was doing. My mom was and still is in there, but my brother and I did it about the age of 6-7 because we wanted to please the adults. I didn't remember anything happening after that even anywhere close to when I actually, honestly and with fully knowing what I was doing, did I feel anything and that was just over a year ago.

 

I have never gotten baptized since that time when I was young and I can attest that without Jesus everything else is merely cosmetic.

COGTHW. You have yet to answer what happens to a person who believes in Jesus dies before they get baptized. What will happen to them? Are they not saved? is faith in Jesus Christ not enough to be saved? is His Grace not sufficent for us?

COGTHW it is impossible for you to assist in the gospel of Jesus Christ when you are completely wrong about the gospel message. What you are saying is that trusting in Christ alone is not enough. You must also do something else. This is what we refer to as a works based gospel. Salvation is only through Christ not through Christ and baptism. 

So COGTHW what you are teaching is a worked based gospel and that is also what we call heresy.

he isn't confused. COGTHW sounds like he is part of the restoration movement. They teach that Christ plus baptism equals salvation. It is a very heretical teaching that completely misses the mark of what salvation is.

You know. I've said this before and I say it again. We need to have a good old fashioned Bible study going on here . These new wave ideas on things are nothing more than someone saying that they are the light to Jesus truth and not the Bible.
