When a brother or sister is going through an ongoing trial or heartache, and are told by other naive believers that the reason they aren't seeing any relief or answered prayer is because they "don't have enough a faith" or it must be "because of unconfessed sin in their life", rather than praying for them, encouraging them and comforting them through it.

Yeeeaaah. Go get Job's perspective on that one. (Or Joseph. Or Moses. Or David. Or Elijah. Or Jesus. Or the apostles. Or the persecuted saints . . . )

I've seen that one as well (both personally and in the lives of brothers and sisters in Christ). Must be nice to be like some of these folks who carry a "faith meter" around like the gas company, and can tell you on-the-spot when you "don't have enough faith"!

You dont need a meter. It very clear in scripture whp is walking in faith and who is not. Faith moves the mountian and if it never moved guess whats missing and it aint God. satan came to stael kill and destroy. he stole the word from the church. he gave you all rights to cliam you are right and God is wrong, thats what were all doing when we cliam to know whats right and wrong. You are directly claiming God is wrong in your statement. I see Christians on a daily basis not walking in faith but cliaming they are because of misubderstanding scripture.

Example. Oh our whole church was praying for John Smith and John died, must have been Gods will. Wrong John died because no one believed God would actully heal John. One believer would have got the job done.

Why could we not get the boy healed Lord they asked Jesus. Because of you LACK of faith. If the apostles who got everyone healed up until the boy could be accused of not having faith where does that leave most Christian who never ever got one person healed because of there lack of faith. Stop accusing believers.

PS It has nothing to do with Johns sin either. Its all on the person praying for the sick. No one or nothing else.

Believers have issues. Yes but you dont need to be telling satan in here that you have then. keep them to your self. Your words have life and death. and daily people who make these silly comments are adding to death. Its not Godly. You aint adding life by telling all your pet hates. Hates are of the devils and his kingdom. You are not called to hate and prattle on abouts your hates in here. If you sins are from a nother soarse why are you guilty. Your innocent. You dont need forgiveness if its from another soarse. You aint fighting a war. Jesus won the war. He paid the price in full. all you got to do is be willing to die. so die already will ya. and stop claiming your rights You have none but to love. The plank is not in my eye. I see clearly. Bless God

Nice full goespel that you have replied to my comments. Don't quite get what you are saying really, but i was not planting any words at you, but just by scripture showing how we do have a flesh and spirit and they oppose one another and i just use the term "war " to describe it.  Paul said clearly that he had this going on with him.   And nobody is really hating anyone here as such, but in everyday life, christians encounter issues as they speak and interact with the world, therefore situations would come up and the OP was just asking  what was some of the things we encounter and to describe them. That's all.

The vs about the plank is not referring to you as such, but it is saying that one should examine himself first before making criticism about others.

My words don't have life and death, do i have that power, did not know that.

Yes, when you give you life to Christ you enter a war zone, the world the flesh and the Devil.  We know the outcome of the battle, but nevertherless is't war.  Don't know about you, but this war is real to me.

Ephesians 6:12

I am saying your words are life and death God says. So we need to watch them. why cause satans looking for weakness in you. ANd wanst to add to death continually. If we are in here spouting all our hates satan logs it and will use it against you at some point. I dont take offence at anything you say man. Bless you. We are in a war with the spirit and flesh and soul. spirurt want to align the soul with the spirit. the flesh wants the soul to serve the flesh. But the bigger war with satan is not a war against us. Its against God. so when we get hurt. Its not all against you but God. I am quoting scriptures telling how there is so much more and there is NO condemantion for us no matter where we are with Christ. And yes you have the power of life and death in the tounge. Thats why we take everythought capture and then release it when we knows it uplifting . Pov 18:21 Yes the war is real but it is not agaisnt you.

Bless you bro.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
