Baggage claim is a populated area with easy targets for the armed gunman. Terribly sad.

The papers down under say, the firearm was in his baggage. Every time some nutter goes ballistic using a firearm its world wide news. Did any news media in the US report the fact that someone ran amok with an axe here today?? Two in hospital as far as I know. Usually these non firearms attacks are kept relatively quiet here. We also have multiple stabbings here every other day, do these events get splashed all over the news in the US when ever they occur downunder? Its not all about firearms, unless one is an anti firearms person?? http://www.news.com.au/world/north-america/multiple-people-shot-at-fort-lauderdalehollywood-airport/news-story/002a8f04cd7decb1c1fdba27c96ec9e4 Another nutter on the loose, the doctors, WORLD WIDE, especially the anti firearms quacks should hang their heads in shame. Doctors through the AMA are calling for tougher gun laws here in Australia while they allow mental patients, some with criminal records and history to roam free in society? Not to mention doctors, world wide, kill more people than are killed in crime every day. https://ama.com.au/media/tighter-restrictions-needed-gun-ownership Whenever medical doctors go on strike, a most interesting phenomenon occurs - death rates go down! In 1976 in Bogota, Columbia medical doctors went on strike for 52 days, with only emergency care available. The death rate dropped by 35%. In 1976 in Los Angeles County a similar doctors' strike resulted in an 18% drop in mortality. As soon as the strike was over, the death rate went back to normal. A 50% decrease in mortality occurred in Israel in 1973 when there was a one month doctor's strike!https://www.utopiasilver.com/emailtemp/articlepages/Doctor-Caused%20Disease.htm

Their solution? They let their patients go free in the towns they were in. Fascinating statistics about the death rates going down when doctors were on strike. Actually, I'm not all that surprised. I guess that part in the Hippocratic oath , do no harm, was edited out? Or perhaps its not compulsory.

I guess that part in the Hippocratic oath , do no harm, was edited out? Or perhaps its not compulsory. That happened here as well. They closed two of our largest mental hospitals in my state and let those there out and set them up in halfway houses. This shooter was definitely a sick man. "In Nov. 2016, Santiago-Ruiz walked into an FBI office in Anchorage and claimed he was being forced to fight for ISIS, law enforcement sources told CBS News. He also said his mind was being controlled by the CIA to watch ISIS videos, sources said. He was sent to a psychiatric hospital after police were called, sources said. He was also investigated as part of a child porn investigation in either 2011 or 2012, law enforcement sources told CBS News. Three weapons and a computer were seized, but no charges were filed, sources said. Sen. Bill Nelson of Florida said it was unclear whether the military ID was the gunman’s. “We don’t know a motive at this point,” Nelson said. “This could well be someone who is mentally deranged, or in fact it could be someone who had a much more sinister motive that we have to worry about every day, and that is terrorism. We can’t conclude that.” http://www.cbsnews.com/news/shots-fired-fort-lauderdale-airport/ .
