Amen! The problem multiplying itself in this country is the resistance. Who's anthem is so foul its following even resists the truth when it exonerates Trump from their fabrications.

God be with our president, his family, our VP and his family, and all who serve in government. God continue also to be with and defend America. And his faithful in the body of his only begotten son. And protect us from the adversary and his army as they seek to grow stronger. Consuming righteousness if they are able, while slandering , fouling American community by laying seeds of division , and calling for the assassination of those lives lived in Christ. While arming themselves in order to take lives in the name of hatred, allegiance to Senator Bernie Sanders, and the death-left, dark-left, platform.  AMEN!

Yes. Trump.

One side respects he was elected by a free people in a free Democratic process.

The other does not.

One side that identifies as Christian and that did elect Mr.Trump in that free Democratic election process hold to the scriptures as they describe God's plan and will concerning leadership. And the obligation of sons and daughters of God to respect that.

The other does not.

One side recognizes no one is perfect. While recipes stirred to foster lies, slander, defamation of an elected American president, his family, and even his supporters on both sides of the aisle, deserve to be exposed by the truth so that those dark seeds have no further chance to germinate in free soil.

The other does not.

One side prays for the enemies of America.

The other side seeks to call for the beheading, the assassination by proxy, commits to the actual physical assassination, of those who whisper those prayers.

The other never would.

Well, let's see.  People have been accused of being a part of a mob.  People have been accused of worshiping Trump.  Christians have been accused of calling other Christians' faith into question. How's that for starters?

And yes, on this very thread I did suggest that another poster was being somewhat of a drama queen in one of her posts.  I did that - not to insult her - but to instead jolt her into perhaps seeing things from other's perspectives.  Hopefully she will respond.

No one has a corner on the truth.  I enjoy reading - and responding to - those whose views differ from mine.  While I realize that core values - worldviews - are seldom changed, I believe it is still beneficial to have a dialogue.

I learned a long time ago that Christians are all over the map when it comes to politics.  I suppose it just comes down to my enjoying exploring that, I suppose.

Blessings,

-Ed

It is a great start.  You see all the problems of the "other side" and none on "your side."   I guess "your side" must be perfect!  Silly of me to suggest otherwise!  I think I will join LK in a time out now.

You win.  I simply do not know how to respond to that.

I'm not going to take a time out from posting, but I will take a time out from responding to you.

I really did enjoy engaging with you.

Probably a wise decision when not reading clearly the actual words of what is being posted for your consideration. God go with you.

Here are my feelings, you can feel free to respond or not to respond.

I spoke of "problems" and you listed all the problems of the other side, even your admission that it was not really nice to call LK a drama queen was couched around it being the right thing to do so she can see the other side of things.

And yes, I did call say people were part of the mob, because when you are on the receiving end on this on this forum that is what it feels like sometimes.

So, I will ask you, since you think it is a good idea, have you ever tried seeing things from our perspectives.  Have you thought about what it feels like to be told daily you are filled with hate for disagreeing with Trump?  Have you tried to think about what it might be like to have 10 to 1 odds against you in every political post?   Have you thought about what it is like to be called dishonest multiple times a day by people because you disagree with their politics?

So, while I cannot speak for LK I can say that in talking with her privately we both like this board and we both like to have the discussion with people that have different views than us.   So, occasionally it gets too much and people say things that make them look like drama queens.   But it is better to just walk away than to do what I did for so long and try to fight back and end up being way worse than what you got and getting yourself in trouble with the owner and moderators of this board.

So, perhaps if people could lay off with the comments about hate and dishonesty for a little bit we could actually have a real discussion.

But, I will not be holding my breath.

The problem is perpetual victimhood.  All who refuse to agree with and cheer on the AntiTrumpers are now a 'mob'?  It makes me wonder, in all honesty, what do they expect here?  That the majority is simply going to agree with them so as not to hurt their feelings? That they should have the freedom to blast the President and the Right day after day and no one should call them on it? We're all adults here, I'm pretty sure, and we all should be able to take the slings and arrows of real life.  Or just not post here.  If I felt like I was wasting my time, I would be SO gone.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
