I used to have a black lab.   That dog was a good one.   almost as smart or really just as smart as my blue heeler.

That is so funny you said that.  because when I take them to the lake to swim , they don't run off like most dogs. they stay right close by.

I remember one time when Sampson was a baby.  about four months old.  I had taken him to the lake and we ran into cows out their.

That dog had no fear period.   And when it came at him, even as a pup it did almost a flip to the side.  agile thing.

Yes they are fearless and loyal! Great companions and full of energy.

*an Aussie legend is that the original breed, some kind of sheep work dog from GB was mixed with the Australian dingo(Aussie wild dog)..not sure how true that is though.

Well in the cattle dog book.  it says some dingo, I think blue merle collie,  dalmation , kelpie , and I think one other dog.   bella has the look of a wild dog in her eyes, probably the dingo.

They can understand Australian.    Don't laugh, I  had a friend that was like REALLY.    I was like they speak ENGLISH same as us.

I was in perth once many moons ago.  We went into Freemantle.   it was thanksgiving time in nineteen ninety five.  we had five days shore leave .

That was back twenty one almost twenty two years ago.   So wonderful to think that once I was in the marines , yet NOW its a whole new army of the LORD with whole new mindset.
