Yea

So why do people talk about being born again, as if it already happened? Scripture points out it happens at the last trumpet.

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

Dear Waldan,

It is a rebirth by the receiving of the Word, through the Holy Spirit.  It is a rebirth of believing that which you hear, but that it must be "received".  In the heart.  Within a person.

You must believe that Truth, that is given.  The Truth of Jesus Christ crucified for your sins, and the resurrection, and all that the Word has to say to you.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

1 Peter 3:;[19] But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:[20] Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,[21] Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.[22] Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:

[23] Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the Word of God which liveth and abideth for ever.[24] For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:[25] But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

You must believe the Word of the gospel, of which we become Ambassadors.  We are new "creations" in Jesus Christ.

Read 2 Cor. 5. (that might be of interest to you in understanding)

In His Love,

Suzanne

At the time we were saved, drastic change begins to take place in us; our ways and our thinking, and we are able to understand scripture; a very personal one-on-one relationship begins with the Lord. He begins to lead us, mold us, change us, speak to us, teach us, responds to us privately and personally, etc.

Its something that starts the moment we accept true salvation.

Ok

But the time you are actually "BORN AGAIN" is when Jesus returns(according to scripture).

1COR.15  [42] So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

1 Peter 3 [23] Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible

Dear Waldan,

Are you trying to say that the Holy Spirit is not received until Christ's physical return?  Because we know that is not true, because the receiving of the Holy Spirit is certainly before that. Because He tells us that is given so that we will not be orphans.  But, if you are speaking of a physical re-birth, yes, spiritual re-birth, occurs with salvation.

Again you might want to look at 2 Cor. 5, particularly 2 Cor. 5:17.

In His Love,

Suzanne

It's ok Waldans,

No need to apologize to me.  I understand someone trying to understand the Word, and I am not trying to be critical.  The Lord desires that we seek Him through His Word.  So I'll be praying that the Lord will instruct you in what you are seeking to know.

In His Love,

Suzanne

Waldens Mountain:

What belief/denomination/Church do you belong to?  Many of us have given Scriptural Truth and Proof that if any are Born Again in Jesus Christ, it occurs before our physical death at the moment we accept, believe and, follow Jesus Christ making Him King over our hearts.  Yet, you seem to keep twisting what is put forth, ignoring a great deal of it and, pushing your own theology of when that occurs.

Christ made it very clear to Nicodemus that unless we are "Born Again", we cannot receive "The Kingdom of God".  And, He spoke again in several places that unless "The Kingdom of God" comes to a man's heart while he "remains" or is "alive", that man is condemned for all eternity.

How much clearer can the Word tell you that you MUST BE Born Again prior to Jesus' return and/or our own physical death (whichever occurs first)??

God Bless.

Hi R Cruise

It might appear as im twisting things but im really not. The WORD says to prove all things and hold on to that which is good.Ive heard of things like the rapture and such and when id look into the WORD i would find its just not there.

I belong to no church so i am not pushing any theologys. I just wanna know the truth.

Dont ya understand by looking at these 2 scriptures that i might have questions.

Cant ya see that.

resurrection- corruption to incorruption

born again  - corruptible to incorruptable

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
