You can wear a ankle length skirt and still be the one with the well signed guest book. So to speak.

I believe that women should not be judged by what they wear. It should be what they are comfortable in. Myself, I like to cover up but I wont judge some one who wants to reveal a bit more than I do.

I go to a christian school which is quite strict on what we are and are not allowed to wear. I can understand at school because it can be seen as disrespectful to our lord. I believe that you are happiest when you feel good about yourself and if that's what makes you feel good then by all means wear what you want.

I have the foxyest wife there ever was, and she wears jeans or slacks or long dresses, sleved blouses, buttoned up to the next to the top button, and has her hair tied back , or braided or even down....

when she is at the alter worshipping, I slip and let my pride show thru that I have one of the classiest women i have ever known.....

now, again, what has been said in past postings,

the other day she came in from work after being gone for 24 hours and made a stop at the store on the way home, she shared with me a story.... while she was in the store, a guy started talking about her braid ( she does home healthcare and has long hair, so has it braided to keep it out of the way of her work, and I do the braids ) how nice it looked ( it was over 24 hours since it had been braided ) and this guy started talking about how he likes to braid hair..... she politely thanked him for the compliment and also told him that her husband also likes to braid hair and that he is the best hair braider that she ever knew......

I only wish i could have seen the look on that guys face when she told him that...

lol....

my wife, Teresa, is the mostest wonderful woman alive. a Spirit Filled servant of God.... what a pleasure it is to watch her work with the young teen girls, and I serve her while she is teaching them, i run for copies, i run for this, i run for that, and i pray with and for her class....

i'm not saying that you can't dress covered up. So many girls today are feeling pressured to show more flesh and I believe that this is wrong, however if this is what the women or girl is comfortable wearing I don't believe she should be judged for it. Revealing clothes doesn't mean she is 'asking for it' and I don't believe that's fair to say.

I cover up whenever I go out so i'm not trying to defend myself but just trying to say that wearing revealing clothes is not disrespectful, in my opinion. I know a girl that was sexually assaulted and the general response to this was that she was asking for it. I can assure you that this is not correct in any way.

This may have already been said, if so, I apologize for being redundant.

If you wouldn't wear it in front of Jesus........don't wear it.

ok,

let it all hang out....

if it does not matter,

took my son to get he hair cut for the prom last night, at the mall,

one teen girl was walking with 3 guys..... they was hanging all over her,

she was wearing a skirt ( if you can call it that ) where her cheeks were hanging out....

i made a quick move into a store to get my son to follow, which he did.

now, this young female is not asking for it? she is allowing guys to hang all over her, and walking around with her back side hanging out? she is nto asking for it?

if that had been my daughter, a paddle would have met that flesh.

you are right in some people will lust after some one no matter what they wear, but why tantelize them, why push it.

if some one ws to touch that young female on the skin that was showing, they would be up for charges of sexual harassment.....

she was flat out advertising, 'LOOK WHAT I GOT' and 'I AINT GOTS NO RESPECT FOR MYSELF"

is that yoru daughter? or was that your son hanging on her?

it was not my son, nor my daughter.

As I have observed this thread...Mr&MrsMIrish......you summed this up exremely well......for this I admire you.

If I had a child that did that.....I would be so ashamed....you are correct, it is not right, that girls dress in that fashion.

I am not sure how it is over there my beloved Bro.

But there are a never ending constant peer pressure leading our children.

They stem from school, best friends, internet, the local hobby club, what other children wear, how other children etc etc etc...

I seriously think they ONLY alternative for them at all out there is Parents.

How they teach, instill and deliver morals that will enable them to be better equipped to face the harsh reality today.

The World.

God Bless You. :P

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
