Hello everybody,

I am trying to find purpose of life in past weeks. I have been quite sad from it. Also i am suffering from OCD.

I wanted to send a photo to my girlfriend of my brother, but than a thought jumped in my head. If send the picture my family will be struggling. It is part of my OCD. I have lot of obsession about this. I told myself, that i believe that God will help us and he will protect us. I started to being still anxious what if I send the picture. So I finally decide not to send the picture. Now I feel really anxious, because I have also told myself, that if i don't send the picture, God will punish me because If I didn't believe that he will safe us from struggling if I send the picture. So I didn't send the picture and I deleted. So know I can not send it. I am now so anxious, that God will punish me.

What do you think about this? Please help me with this. I will be really grateful for any answer. Thank you so much! Also how should I pray? Like I mean what kind of prayers should I say? Thank you so much!

First of all relax. God has already been there so He knows. No you will not be punished, I feel certain about that since you have already punished yourself enough. Yes, go see a doctor, but steer clear from the shrinks. There are many that will pray for you also so do not be afraid to ask them to.

So in your state, you're spinning your wheels frantically trying to find an answer to a question you do not really know. This leaves you open to suggestions from the dark side, and I do know about anxiety personally. Find your scriptures and look up 'fear'.
Fear is debilitating and a major tool of the devil. When God tells you to do something and convicts your spirit, He will also show you a way out. The devil NEVER does this. God is the one with your answers, so just seek Him quietly and then LISTEN.

Satan is the confuser and the condemner. He wants to steal, destroy and kill you. But God loves you with an Everlasting Love.

Thank you so much for yours answers. It helped me. But I still don't know why I get irrational thoughts, that if i don't do this and this, than God will punish me or will not like me. For example I want to do my homework, and a thought jumps in my head: you can't do this homework or if you do, you will go to hell. I try to convince myself, that it is just part of my disorder. But than I can not still decide whether will I continue doing my homework or I will stop. I already did that I did I some think which I shouldn't. But all those actions where actually not sins, or I don't know.

What should I do in those moments, when thought like this jumps in my head? Thank you again so much for the answers from you!

Have a nice day!

Firstly, how were you diagnosed? God meant labels to be applied to soup cans not people.

If you were shrunk into that 'name' and then owned it, I suggest a different name for you. CHILD OF GOD.

It would be a very good thing for you to disown 'therapy' as such and focus on the scriptures. Try to reprogram your thought patterns. Have fun doing this. Write down the condemning thoughts that come to you, then find a scripture that you may recite to refute that. It is OK to have dozens of such 'answers' to the ways life has of trying to get at us.

If you DO something creative like this, it brings out the Lord's gifts in your life. He is the ultimate Creator.

Be sure to be in the Word each day, reading, studying, praying. God will not punish you for not committing sins. Perhaps the best way to counter these negative, false thoughts is to really know what the Bible teaches about God and His personality and nature. Come in close to Him and know Him better!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
