Hi Shiloh,

Now my dear father (promoted to glory) used to call me Marylyn, and you reminded me of that, (thanks). Now Quasar mentioned the `glorified` body of the Lord - he said -

If not, provide examples of why the visible glorified body of Jesus, was not the very same as that of His pre-incarnate body, empowered to be materialized and fully physical, when He was resurrected.

Thus it is important to know when the Lord was glorified as per Rev. 1: 13 - 17 and see the difference from when He had just risen.

Marilyn.

If you have an issue with Quasar about that, then you need to take that up with him, not me.    My point, the only point I am trying to make, is that the body of Jesus that came out of the tomb was the same that went into the tomb.    If you have an issue with THAT point, then feel free to make it.

You don't need to try pull me into your debate with Quasar.

The point I was making and that you appear unable to understand is that the same body that went into the tomb is the same body that came out.  It HAS to be the same body for Jesus to possess the biblical qualifications to be the Messiah.

To think that God went to the trouble to establish how we would know who the Messiah is, and then discard those qualifications is nonsense.  If the prophetic qualifications don't matter, then why can't I be the Messiah??   Why can't you be the Messiah??

His glorified body will be the same body He had on earth.

What I understand from scripture is that it's the same body changed......I don't know if that's how you are thinking of it or not.

It is the same body glorified, imperishable, eternal.   That is the change I have been speaking of.

I think all i can say brother, is that IF we are trying to figure things out with the carnal mind we are going to miss the mark, one way or the other.  I'm just satisfied with what the bible actually says, without adding or taking away from it.  Unless I'm mistaken you seem to be trying to defend a position that doesn't need defending.....Jesus was born of the Jews and salvation is of the Jews, He is the Messiah and King of Israel, and they are loved for the sake of the patriarchs, and I believe Israel will experience national repentance in the end......... and I am in no way denying any of those things, by thought, word or implication.

I am saying that Jesus is STILL a Jew.   He still has the same body He had on earth and is still of the line of David (Rev. 22:16) and will return to be Israel's Messiah because only a living descendant of David can be the Messiah.

More to the point, It appears to me that you have a problem with Jesus still being Jew.

Good golly......I had a feeling that's what you were thinking.........but where on earth did you get that idea........well never mind, pretty sure I know......it's from the carnal mind which cannot perceive the things of the SPIRIT.  We need to put off the carnal mind and put on the mind of Christ.  This is why Jesus was often misunderstood.

I am not being carnal.  Jesus is still Jewish. That's not carnal.    Jesus said He is still Jewish Rev. 22:16:

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
(Rev 22:16)

Is Jesus being carnal by claiming He is still Jewish???

Shiloh, you seem to be misunderstanding me because of the carnal mind.......the same as Jesus was misunderstood and wrongly accused by those who couldn't perceive the things of the SPIRIT when He was talking......they accused falsely because they misunderstood.  This is why the Holy SPIRIT is called the Helper.......because we need to depend on His Help to understand spiritual things and not depend on our carnal natural intellect....which is ENMITY with God.  Just as it was ENMITY with Jesus and so they accused Him.  I don't know what your church background is or what you have been taught about these things......but I encourage you to check the scriptures and see if it ain't so, bro.  ;)

No, it is not my carnal mind.  It is your refusal to answer questions put to you.   For some reason, and I have noted this in the past, that I can put simple questions to you and you just can't seem to offer a straight answer and you dance around what I am asking.

So the problem is you, not me.    So you can get off your spiritual high horse.   I realize that just answering a question is just too herculean of a task for you to accomplish.    Accusing me of having a carnal mind just so you can avoid having to address the issue I raised is really where the carnality lies.

You seem to be asking carnal questions that require carnal answers......and I don't even know how to answer that way.  Do you want to know if I deny that Jesus is the root and offspring of David?  Well I do not deny it, I agree with it completely.  But I also know He is the offspring of God.......and as well as being the Messiah of Israel he is the messiah of all nations.......He is the Lord of all lords and King of all kings......do you agree with those things brother, or do you deny the FAITH?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
