You are not reading it correctly. You jump to conclusions as well. I am not SDA. But you have only two buckets I see. Yours and everybody else's. Oh dear. Saul met with Jews, Greeks and Gentiles says the text - ON THE SABBATH.

Paul took the Nazarite vow to prove he was FOR the law since some misconstrued his words. Subtle alterations down thru the ages have also altered the sense. And do not talk about context please since this is always a way people have of altering the sense of plain talking. Just read plainly what it says and do not twist it to your doctrines. An read it ALL, chapter and verse breaks OFTEN confuse as to plain sense. Chapter and verse breaks are merely a translation aid and do NOT construe topical senses or chapter/subject breaks. Read the whole thing and do not cherry-pick verses to suit your doctrines.

You do not have a leg to stand on to tell people not to observe the Law, the Commandments and the Sabbath of the Lord.

That is called LAWLESSNESS.

Yhat is a false statement to call it lawlessness. when the Apostles said the gentiles are not under a yoke to keep yhe law of moses.

And you can still break the intent of the law by not loving. Bearing false wittness to someone is hateful. Its not a way to love them. So if i bear false wittmess i have sin now because i broke the commandment to love othets. But shadows like the sabbath is not breaking the commandment to love one anotherm

OH. And why not? Yeshua said to love your neighbor as yourself - ON THIS HANG ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS.

I.e. this REPRESENTS and ALLUDES to ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS. So to practice Lawlessness, by definition means you do injustice to your neighbor.

Jesus says, "If you love me, you will keep my commandments".

What are the commandments again?

You know.. the laws he taught from OT?

Which included how to keep the Sabbath?

You need to study the book of Gal. There are two covenants. The old one was the bondwomen. We are of the freewomen. Justified by promise of God.

Twisted scripture. Non-existent doctrine to confuse people.

I am not SDA. I am a believer for almost 40 years and I was convicted because I did not keep the Sabbath. It is not easy to switch to Saturday from Sunday for worship because we cherish Saturdays to get so many jobs done. It is about 3 years since I obeyed Keeping the Shabbat, which is a complete REST and time to communicate with Elohim.  His appointed time, our date with HIM.  If your boss called you for a meeting on Wednesday would you really show up on Thursday??

My life is transformed. I love Shabbat and look forward to it all week long. My date with Elohim. All the commandments are for us. Yeshua telling us to love one another as HE loves us, seems to be the most broken commandment on this site. I come here to fellowship but instead get caught up in controversies and insults back and forth. As I said I am not SADA.; I actually balked at obeying the REPEATED call of Elohim to keep the Sabbath because I don't agree with SDA teachings. How insane was that?

Anyway, Sabbath was made for man and the rest is up to you. Elohim called it just after creation which I love cuz He was saying everything thing is done do let's REST. Adonai Tz'vot loves when we obey and commune with HIM on Shabbat and all His Feast Days. All the Spring Feast Dsys have been fulfilled now please watch HIM fulfill His Fall Feasts.

With agape love for all here I post this comment

People are  trying to get christians to keep the seventh day sabbath of rest.

The Sabbath was a shadow of the rest in christ we have.

If you say we still have to keep it you are putting a yoke on others.

We are free to kerp any day to the lord. Rest on monday if you wish and honor God.

Sabbath keepers, especially some of the ones on this board that whine about the Sabbath  are, ironically, some of the biggest law-breakers and idolators I have ever encountered.

Nice conclusive statement there.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
