And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons' after him,

to be anointed therein,

and to be consecrated in them.

And that son that is priest in his stead shall put them on seven days,

when he cometh into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy place.

Exodus 29:29-30

'And thou shalt take the ram of the consecration,
.. and seethe his flesh in the holy place.
And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram,
.. and the bread that is in the basket,
.... In the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
And they shall eat those things wherewith the atonement was made,
.. to consecrate and to sanctify them:
.... but a stranger shall not eat thereof,
...... because they are holy.

And if ought of the flesh of the consecrations,
.. or of the bread, remain unto the morning,
.... then thou shalt burn the remainder with fire:
...... it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.

And thus shalt thou do unto Aaron, and to his sons,
.. according to all things which I have commanded thee:
.... seven days shalt thou consecrate them.'

(Exodus 29:31-33)

And thou shalt offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement:

and thou shalt cleanse the altar,

when thou hast made an atonement for it,

and thou shalt anoint it,

to sanctify it.

Seven days thou shalt make an atonement for the altar,

and sanctify it;

and it shall be an altar most holy:

whatsoever toucheth the altar shall be holy.

Exodus 29:36-37

Now this is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar;

two lambs of the first year day by day continually.

The one lamb thou shalt offer in the morning;

and the other lamb thou shalt offer at even:

And with the one lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil;

and the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering.

And the other lamb thou shalt offer at even,

and shalt do thereto according to the meat offering of the morning,

and according to the drink offering thereof,

for a sweet savour,

an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

Exodus 29:38-41

This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD:

where I will meet you,

to speak there unto thee.

And there I will meet with the children of Israel,

and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory.

And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation,

and the altar:

I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons,

to minister to me in the priest's office.

Exodus 29:42-44

And I will dwell among the children of Israel,

and will be their God.

And they shall know that I am the LORD their God,

that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt,

that I may dwell among them:

I am the LORD their God.

Exodus 29:45-46

Exodus 30 New International Version (NIV)

The Altar of Incense

30 “Make an altar of acacia wood for burning incense. 2 It is to be square, a cubit long and a cubit wide, and two cubits high[a]—its horns of one piece with it. 3 Overlay the top and all the sides and the horns with pure gold, and make a gold molding around it.

 Make two gold rings for the altar below the molding—two on each of the opposite sides—to hold the poles used to carry it.  Make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold.  Put the altar in front of the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law—before the atonement cover that is over the tablets of the covenant law—where I will meet with you.

“Aaron must burn fragrant incense on the altar every morning when he tends the lamps.

He must burn incense again when he lights the lamps at twilight so incense will burn regularly before the Lord for the generations to come.

Do not offer on this altar any other incense or any burnt offering or grain offering, and do not pour a drink offering on it.

10 Once a year Aaron shall make atonement on its horns. This annual atonement must be made with the blood of the atoning sin offering[ for the generations to come. It is most holy to the Lord.”

Exodus 29:36-37

'Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines.
.. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace;
.... not with meats,
...... which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
We have an
altar,
.. whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.
For the bodies of those beasts,
.. whose blood is brought into the sanctuary
.... by the high priest for sin,
...... are burned without the camp.
Wherefore Jesus also
.. that He might sanctify the people with His own blood,
.... suffered without the gate.
...... Let us go forth therefore unto Him without the camp,
........ bearing His reproach.'

(Hebrews 13:9-13)
