Good point, even as a Christian I sadly see myself fold to pressures of society that I wish I had more courage. It would be hard to imagin and everyday bombardment from everyside.

I'll add to that...

I think the main problem with being a Christian/politician is that you have to be very careful in what you say 'cause you could end up offending people that affect whether or not you serve another term. That's, at least for me, would be too much of a problem...'cause I can't keep my big mouth shut when it comes to the Lord. On that note, I probably wouldn't be voted into office anyway 'cause of my mouth...so I have no worries in the political world.

Plus, everybody is going to hold a Christian politician to higher standards and look to ridicule everything they do wrong...case in point, the President. I'm not saying that he shouldn't be held to a higher standard...it's just that the microscope get's a little bigger when a Christian steps up because many non-believers are just looking for an excuse or reason to point out what's wrong with Christianity or religion for that matter.

And don't get me started on the "religion" word being tossed around in conjunction with Christianity. I'm sorry, but I disagree that Christianity is a religion...religion, IMO, is a type of sect that got started by man. Christianity was developed by God and for God....it's totally different from everything else associated with man. It's one of the on-going arguments that my wife and I have. I get so discouraged to hear it. (Btw, she's a non-believer).

Anyway, sorry to get side-tracked.

So we won't get scholded like school children again, I want to state that I was being honest and serious about my first post.

I'll stick with Condi Rice for President. No joking. I think the battle in the election between Hillary "Dragon Lady" Clinton and Condi "I have something you don't have Mrs. Clinton and that is a personality" Rice (My take on that anyway) I think it would be ugly, but a decision I'm sure alot of Americans would really have to think about because of the political, social, and cultural implications of how the campaigns would be run. I still say Madam Secretary Rice would be a much better president than Clinton.
