Ok, I am new to this board, however I am no stranger to Biblical prophecy, of which I have been studying for the last five years and I have yet to even begin to scratch the surface of it.

For starters one thing I have learned through study is this: GOD has his own time line for everything, a day to us may just be a second to God, so the way that we perceive this world from the way HE does are two separate perceptions. I am a very firm believer of the pre-tribulation rapture for as I see it there are certain events which must come into play to begin a chain reaction. What those events are, no one knows for sure.

Rev 3:11 "Behold, I am coming quickly, hold fast what you have that no one may take your crown"

This is not a threatening temporal judgement, instead it is the hopeful even that was written about in 2 Thessalonians 2:1 and it goes on to say in v.3 " Let no on deceive you by any means, for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God"

In reference to the falling away, The Day of the Lord cannot occur until a deliberate abandonment of a formerly professed position, allegiance, or commitment occurs (The term was used to refer to military, political or religious rebellion) some have suggested that this "departure" refers to the rapture, which I believe to be untrue, context in fact points to a religious defection which is further described in v.4.

Call me a fool if you will, but only those who accuse others of being fools are in fact fools themselves, But I am a strong believer in the Left Behind theory. Christ Jesus will come as a thief in the night to rapture his church to save those who are already his from the coming judgements, judgements I will elaborate on at another time. I know the series is considered "Biblical fiction" but it is based on truths found in the book of Revelation.

I urge all of you to watch a special on NBC tonight if you are able. It comes on at 8:00 (Eastern time) and will contain interviews of the authors of the Left Behind series.

Perhaps when I have more time I shall be more elaborate on this subject, until then.

Farewell,

KJTsion

I don't get why the preacher was left behind. He said knowing isn't the same as believeing. What does that mean?

I know Jesus died for me.

I know He was raised from the dead.

I know that faith without works is dead.

I know that you must be baptised in the Holy Spirit

What am I missing?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

You can know about Jesus like i know about King Arthur yet i do not believe King arther had a wizzard who made him king and that he pulled a sword out of a rock, i know the story but i don't except it :24:

All the saints and elect of God are gathered together before the tribulation, which is to come, and are taken to the Lord, in order that they may not see at any time the confusion which overwhelms the world because of our sins.

Revelation 3:10

Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.

People have wrongly believed "keep" means to keep through, but how can that be a reward? "Since you have kept my command to endure patiently" I will make you wait through Most horrible 7 years in Earths History you will be tortured murdered and starve to death, and you will have to live underground. What kinda reward is that? Sounds more as a punishment to me. But "Since you have kept my command to endure patiently" You deserve that

So as you can see it is that we will be taken out before that, don't believe that the Word "KEEP" Means to "keep through" :24: It just doesn't make sense if it did mean Keep through.

1 Thessalonians 1:10

and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead

It seems to me that there are a few arrogant and sure of themselves people posting in this thread. :)

If you believe so strongly that you are Biblically right, why don't you show us? Why don't you look at your fellow brothers and sisters in Him with love and understanding? Instead of putting them down, help them up! Instead of working on tearing them down, you should want to show them your point of view politely and reasonably.

Just a thought....... ;)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
