This is in response to "One Accord".

Not Mr. " There IS condemnation in Christ, so I am going to condemn you and tell you that you are not a Christian in my eyes ".

You can disagree w/ me all you want, that's fine, but to tell me that I'm not a Christian just because I say that I don't really care about some biological hunk of meat that would just assume kill me or dominate me were I another species, is just plain mean.

Thank you for your comment, "One Accord" but if you think that bringing up every single verse in the bible where they simply mention animals is going to prove my point that animals are nothing but organic machines devoid of personality, which run on instinct and understand only respect and dominance, then I

Fris -

You said animals ruled the world before humans.

That is contrary to Scripture.

This is what I was questioning.

I think it will be more like the Garden of Eden, where the animals weren't necessarily pets but that Adam was a steward and keeper and all lived in harmony without fear, death, killing, etc.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I think this is the key. When God created the world, He saw that it was good.

God created man & woman to live with Him in the Garden of Eden. That is God's idea of "very good".

I often wonder if the "new heaven and new earth" will be a return to things as they were in the Garden?

Gerioke, you keep me rolling in my floor. You keep me on my toes.

Frisbinator, I am not an animal activist. I just been trying to share some of the things that I feel the Holy Spirit is showing me. I totally disagree with your view and I am not ashamed to say it. Practically every scripture that anyone used on this thread concerning animals you have said it was symbolic. I wonder if you have a thumping gizzard instead of a heart. Of course the Word of God is symbolic; yet it is so literal at the same. It can be all things and anything to man. Tell me is it ever to late to learn? Is there still room for enlightenment for mankind, or has he reached is perfect peak? There is no one so blind as the one who will not see.

This morning I saw two of the same kind of animals ( I won't say what the were) on the road. One had been ran over. It was dead. The other was in the road, unwilling to leave yet. It wasn't waiting around to eat the other one, because they were probably very close family members. It was still very much dark. This was on a road where at this time of the day practically no vehicles are travelling. I don't know how long the incident had happened before I went through, but I know in my heart and in my spirit the that live animal was in mourning for the other. Say what you will as your gizzard thumps. I hope that it doesn't thump so loud that you are unable to hear what you need to hear. I'm not passing jugement on you. I just want you to expand your horizons a bit.

Fox alert!!! I saw the Mom and her three "kits" (that's what the babies are called) yesterday. I didn't leave them any bread, but I wish I had. She stayed right there near the road and I talked to them. They were in the ditch in some fairly tall grass. One or two times one of the babies would come out and come near the road, as if to see who I was and hear what I was saying. Why? I haven't quite figured that one out yet. This was about 4 o'clock in the afternoon. So try to understand. I don't want to hear any of mankind's egotistical goings-on of how our loft perch is soooooooooooo high up. I'm not under any delusions of what man (I am talking mainly about myself) is capable of. It's only by God's grace that I haven't split hell wide open. Some had better re-think this. When animals mourn over their loved ones and so forth. I think our God is due more credit then He is often times given.

I must get some sleep now, but the Lord wanted me to also point out something from His word. I will be back to work out some more of my "postpartum issues." For now I sign off. .......jmh137

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
