Hello Brothers & Sisters, I'm curious on how other brothers and sisters in Christ view Revival, What does it looks like?, What does it take for Revival to come? What can we do to spark a Revival? and so on ....

Over the past few months a few our local church body have been having cottage prayer meetings , Praying for Revival .. The Prayer meetings started out in Humility .. falling on our faces before a Holy God .. Crying out in Repentance, individually and Praying for The Church as a Whole, in these days we call good what God calls sin. I Believe we must Humble ourselves and let go of pride and allow The Almighty to work in our lives .For me over thepast few months The Lord laid it on my heart that we are a 21st Century Church .. not preaching The 1st century Gospel .. Reaching out unconditionally .. Boldly to Those that are lost .. But first we must come to His Throne Room of Grace Cleansed . In 2 Chronicles 7:14 The Lord Speaks to us...

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

I Believe That "if" we do this His Promise That He will heal our land will happen, Backslidders will rededicate their lives,The Lost will see such Joy in our Hearts that they will seek and find, Bars will close down, crime will go down, jails will empty,There is a Lost world out there looking for something real and we are theones to take this to them I Believe with all my heart that if we focus completely at all costs Gods will for our lives He will Deliver .. This may mean getting out of our comfort zone .. Maybe even possibly sending us where we may not want to go , Giving up our jobs, giving up material things .. and go where He leads .

Are we as A Church willling to do This? Or is Our Pride in the way?

Love to hear yur Comments .....

Love in Christ,

Your Bro......... Chuck

Revival to me, triggers a picture of people standing with hands raised, and Holy Fire among them.

I know this sounds unusual to many....but that picture is what is in my mind when someone says "revival".

To me revival is when there is preaching in the streets, in the airwaves and people are praising God in public and God's power is evident every where you look

Revival to me is born out of necessity.

It will be given birth to by the Spirit of God.

It comes in a sweeping motion.

It will be evidenced by a great many acknowledging the Lord.

I feel a revival will be two fold.

First has a Fire quenching and garnering the flock.

Second has a latter rain, washing the spirit of un-belief away and covering us in a mighty gush of Spiritual revival.

One sentence always comes to me in mentioning the word Revival.

To many it may not makes sense.

Genesis 1: 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

I feel that that is how God moves in a Revival.

He moves across the Churches.

YBIC

Acts 2:2  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Acts 2:41  Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Ahh yes I like the verses you posted almost feels like a yoking for revival does it not.

I also noticed something, everything in a revival I mean everything good or bad works out to glorify God.

That is also one of the attributes that a revival is sweeping in

Sounds about right to me. People falling before God, and allowing Him to free them from all binding sin. Seeing families, marriages restored. I pray for such a revival.

I agree with all, but I really think revival starts in OUR hearts. So when I hear the word revival, I think of it on a personal level, and as I begin to be revived it spreads, kind of like a fire.

Psalm 119:18 - Open my eyes, that I may see Wondrous things from Your law.

" ":40b - Revive me in Your righteousness

" ":88 - Revive me according to Your lovingkindness

" ":154 - Revive me according to Your word

" ":156 - Great are Your tender mercies, O Lord; Revive me according to Your judgments

I beleive revival begins with Fear of the Lord, Love for his word, humility and a GOD given desire to see people saved, healed, delivered and walking in wholeness.

This is a great topic, thanks

Blessings,

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
