No one should have to work, the government should provide for 'all' our needs and wants. Those greedy rich people whom provide jobs should be taxed at a much higher rate to make us more equal. Capitalism is an evil system, it requires risk taking and using your own finances; socialism is an equitable, fair and just system to make us all equal. Our government has a welfare based program to make a living at and take advantage of; free food, free or reduced housing, utility assistance, monthly income, SS benefits, free medical, soon to come free college educations, free cell phones, schools providing translators, etc. But the problem is; it's not quite enough, we need more. What's not to like? Once again, this is not a blanket statement and one shoe fits all, but getting close to 50% of the population. I used to work with a person who gave up a $35 per hour job to get on disability .She had no disability at all. Her family which included dozens of uncles, aunts and cousins all sit on their rear ends and the benefits just keep rolling in. This has been going on for generations now, and I am telling you these types have all this stuff down to a SCIENCE! I can’t speak for others, but here in the Southern Ohio area this kind of robbery is epidemic.I want the poor people taken care of. I have a big heart for anyone who is disabled and can’t provide for themselves and their families.I guess it’s just another case of “ no good deed goes unpunished”. Some people have no shame. Well it looks like this topic has run its course so maybe I'll go off topic a bit if I may. Our 1st Congress would not even allocate any relief or funding for the destitute Revolutionary War widows or orphans; whom their husbands gave their last measure of self for family, their posterity and the country we enjoy today. They deemed it immoral and un Constitutional to take money from the public treasury (taxation) and transfer it to the politicians choice of beneficiaries (wealth transfer). By charity, they themselves along with the churches and citizens dug deep with charity to assist those veterans widows and orphans. The government has no money; they do not produce one barrel of oil or one bushel of wheat; they derive their wealth from taxing, borrowing or printing, and distribute the wealth transfer to the politicians choice of beneficiaries for votes. All of which the citizenry is legally responsible for. Abuse and down to a science? I can't tell you the number of times I've been in a supermarket line behind an unruly family acting up. Purchasing food I can barely afford, buying alcohol, tobacco and lottery tickets. Paying for the food with EBT / Food Stamp cards not even using any coupons. Paying for the alcohol, tobacco and lottery ticket with cash and walking out and getting into a late model luxury car I can't even afford and driving off. Jealous No. Outraged; Yes. We've come a long way in the quest for a Utopian society making us equal, equally poor, except for the elite, celebrity and politician.

Forgot to mention this little dilly.....a friend of mine witnessed this—- some guy wanted to know if he could buy dog food with his food stamps .When the request was refused, the guy simply bought a bunch of steaks to feed his pets.Lovely. Keep in mind this was before I repented. It sort of became a tradition years ago as part of my families Christmas stocking stuffers, I would buy about $10.00 worth of scratch off lottery tickets and place them in their socks. This particular year from where I worked, I obtained 4-5 fake winning lottery tickets paying either $50,000 or $100,000 dollars. They looked and scratched off absolutely like the real ones. Anyway, everyone was gathered for Christmas (me, wife, children, daughter-in-laws) and going through their stockings and the screams and panic began when they got around to scratching them off ? Then they got around to reading the fine print on how to redeem them. It had silly stuff like, to collect call yo mamma and the like. Ever laugh so hard you got the hiccups? Yeah, I use to be pretty rotten.

Most on tv including pat robertson are wof prosperity emergent apostate false prophets. That doesnt mean that there arent people with money who use wisdom and follow the leading of God to glorify Christ! God said the love of money is sin because in most cases it can lead people to rely on money and not the Lord! . More offten than not you wont hear about those who are wealthy that are glorifying the Lord with their money because they are humble and meek in spirit. Stories like theirs mostly never gets told because they wouldnt hear of it! They are humble. I knew a man like that. He earned every penny by the sweat of his brow on the land. He also served in ww11 and was the district attorney of his county. He loved the Lord and he served the Lord and his community. He walked the talk. He lived modestly. God intrusts those he knows can handle it . It does afterall take money to run a ministry. It takes millions and millions to run an international ministry I also know that there are few poor people who dont demonize wealthy people because of their money! They are envious in their heart. Which btw a person doesnt need to be wealthy to be guilty of the love of money! Many a pauper dreams of having alot of money to make their lives better one way or other. They are as guilty before God for lack of faith just as much as the rich man who lacks faith! Ponder on that.... He earned every penny by the sweat of his brow on the land. He also served in ww11 and was the district attorney of his county. He loved the Lord and he served the Lord and his community. He walked the talk. He lived modestly. Exactly , he lived MODESTLY , not for him , but spread the wealth to those who had need . And did it not for the eyes of men to see . THAT is how we know one is truly rich , their heart is above , they store not up , they simply faithful in what the LORD gives and if it were all taken away , they would say as did JOB. THE LORD gives the Lord takes away , naked I came out of my mothers womb . ITS not money that is evil ITS the love of it that IS . I love the saying in proverbs . LORD give me neither poverty, NOR RICHES , A heart can be seen by what it seeks after . Facts are just facts . Show me a content man that has nothing YET HAS CHRIST , and I will show you a man of great profit . Godliness with C0ntentment , IS the great gain . They worry not over the morrow , they worry not when times are bad , they hope not for riches , THEY SIMPLY FOLLOW CHRIST and the LORD gives as HE sees fit and takes away as HE sees fit and they just REJOICE n the LORD who IS THIER RICHES .
