In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Ge 1:1 Man is made from the same 17 elements found in the earth. And the earth was without form and empty. And darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters. Ge 2:2 Man in his unregenerated state is without form and empty, ...And the Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters. Man's body is comprised of 97% water. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Ge 1:3 Man is born into spiritual darkness, when God speaks "light" into his soul he is spiritually illuminated, he can see for the first time in his life that Jesus of Nazareth is God in the Flesh.
