This is an idea that is not found in the bible. What the bible saysin James 5: 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. You know, noblenut - you interest me. in 1 Thessalonians 1:5 the Apostle Paul says, "our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction." If you really have experienced the power of God on a personal level - I would like to know more about that. Could you give a specific example of a... need you had what you did in response to that need how God responded and in what way this was miraculous If there is one thing the western church needs it is more power. Did you not realise that it is not the faith of the sick who causes God to heal, but the faith of those praying.
